“I joined 9Round in January. I wanted to start the new year by finding something new and something that would motivate me. My mom recommended this gym to me, as she has been going here for years and raves about it all the time. I am so glad that I went through with it. The workouts are a great mix of challenging and fun, the 30 minutes flies by, the workouts change every day, and the trainers are always so helpful and friendly. I always look forward to going right after work, I love it here!! :)”

The attention to detail in assessing an athletes needs, and building the correct program to take their skills to the next level is first class. The size and quality of the facility is incredible, and the training equipment is next level.”

“My husband and I have been going to snap fitness for a year and a half through the silver sneakers program. The manager, Denise, is friendly, always greets us when we come in. The building is clean, and Denise works hard to keep it that way. The exercise equipment is maintained, and clients are good about wiping machines down after use. It's always open, so we have the convenience of going to exercise anytime.”

“The knowledge they have to help get you reach your goal is second to none! I let myself get out of shape for many years after the service. Then I started to train and after just 2 months I’m running again and see huge improvements in overall strength and endurance versus if I went to some gym and train myself. The equipment is amazing and the atmosphere there is what keeps you going. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get back in shape or someone who already is and wants a challenge!”

“Crowded entryway, but friendly and helpful trainers with a good playlist!When I walked in 5 mins before class time, the last class was still wrapping up and there was no cubby space to put my things. It was a swift transition to the start of our class and just had to put my jacket and things in the back of the workout area.The trainers are super sweet, and asked if I had any previous F45 experience. They walked through and corrected my form appropriately. I'll come back!”

“This gym, is clean, and a little jem located in the back of a plaza off Transit Rd, behind Pita Gourmet in East Amherst.I discovered this gym, in my search for places that offered drop in spin classes. Spin classes are offered 6AM Tuesday & 6AM Thursday , I believe 5: 30 pm on Tuesday evening as well. The classes are affordable with a low cost of $10, the class size is low, probably since its so early in the morning. Melissa is amazing, and didn't mind taking the extra few minutes to show me how to use the bike, and how everything worked. I love the option of not having a commitment to join the gym, and just being able to drop in for spin classes, as needed. They will help with endurance, skill and building myself up for the Ride for Roswell on June 24, 2023.”

I've had a number of breakthroughs in the first 2 weeks and I'm already seeing results in balance, economy of motion, and just overall mind body mindfulness. The instructors are top notch and hit a great balance between meeting you where you're at and pushing you to your next level. The groups are also infectiously encouraging to return to day after day. “The gym is incredible. However, seton is the secret recipe. I’ve been working out with him for the last 14-16 months and thanks to a great program and a proper nutritional plan I’ve managed to become far stronger than realized I would be. Seton finds interest in those who demand to be interested. I told seton I just had hopes of winning a medal in a local power lifting competition but thanks to him I have aspirations to make it to a national competition at some point. He helped me find a brand new hobby, we discuss powerlifting inside and outside of the gym. Both my bench press and squat have both increased drastically but the lift I’m mostly surprised about is my deadlift, which is close to 500lbs in just a little over a year. Ps I hated deadlifting.”

“I have noticed that the pool closes a lot and rock climbing is never opened when we are there but other than that I'm very happy with the Y. My children enjoy going there and there is always equipment available to use. The Lockport Y offers lots of programs that interest my children. Overall recommend!”

“Quite dirty now. It used to be clean. I put a mat on the floor upstairs and saw dirt everywhere. This is probably the only gym in western New York that does not have wiping cloths to use on equipment and mats. I don’t go much anymore.”
