Her name was Debbie and she was so informative and told me I didn't need to buy a bag for my package because it was priority mail and well I just felt like she was so helpful! I had brought tape which I've purchased before for packages for this same situation and came prepared to buy a bag as this is what I have always done in the past and no one has ever told me otherwise. Also makes me feel good knowing there is someone out there speaking up to inform customers! Thank you again!”

“You couldn't ask for a better team. They handle quite a bit that really should be researched by the customer prior to stopping in. Dealing with the public is a job in itself let alone handling multiple, difficult questions with a rush of people all coming in at once. They're staffed essentially on a shoe string budget so we want to try and make their job easier because we certainly need them. Tips: Try the USPS web site for passport Q&A. Tracking info - go to the USPS web site for simple tracking assistance. Missing, late or damaged mail & packages - go to the USPS web site as they have a plethora of info to help assist you. Lastly, make sure your item is properly packaged / sealed for safe arrival as they cannot pack / tape loose boxes on site due to how busy it can be during the day. The office may seem slow one minute but two minutes later they could have ten people in line. They do have some packing materials on site for you to purchase and pack independently in the back area. Help them help you – Jerry Maguire :)”

Idk if the people who deliver actually work directly out of the local offices, like it appears everyone here believes, but if that's the case, they should occasionally review their carriers- random.check ups, etc.My carrier on Mitchell Pl gives me Cleveland Ave mail frequently, and he doesn't always give me, my mail. I have informed delivery and I don't always get what I'm supposed to get. But at least 2x a month Im guaranteed to get Cleveland Ave mail.However, the staff at the counter are always nice, and I have never had a single problem at this location”

“Quick and easy unlike NYC where I used to live. Buffalo is much calmer. Just a heads up, they do close for a period of time during lunch hours. It's funny how things are reversed here. As a New Yorker, we'd go out on our lunch break to mail out packages. Also, there is no kiosk system here.”

“I was really hesitant to use this location because of all of the bad reviews. Everytime ive gone in there though, there has NEVER been a line, and theres always at least 3 different smiling people behind the counter ready to help. Ive never had an issue here or encountered anything but friendly helpful employees. Im also ALWAYS on the look out for this google reviews famous "jennifer" , HOPING to get a glimpse of the person who has generated so many bad reviews. Ive been using this location regularly for the last 6 months and haven't had the pleasure of spotting her yet.”

“The service was really nice. I’m satisfied with it however, there was a Bengali guy named Muhammad was very disrespectful. My brother is a minor yet he was asking him questions when I his sister and mother was present there. He kept pressing us to go get the passport pic taken while telling my bother (minor) to make appointments. Then proceeded to ask if he’s slow because I was doing stuff on behalf of him. He needs to learn to be respectful towards everyone including people from his own background and talk formally. Shout out to the colored guy who helped us. He was amazing. Thank you! “Today is Tuesday 12/12/23. It was approximately 11:13 am. Outstanding customer service. I wanted to say I witnessed an employee (guy who does passports), help an elderly woman with mailing her packages. She had picked a box too small and one of her Christmas presents was to the side and she said "don't worry, she will mail it another time". The employee asked for her permission to look in the box and said he thinks he could get a box that would fit everything. I was very impressed with his willingness to help and taking the initiative to get the right box for her packages. I told him as I was leaving "outstanding customer service"”
“I am so surprised to see many negative posts about this post office. I have never had a bad experience there. I actually choose to go to the Hertel post office even though it is farther from my home. It is busy at times but the employees move customers through quickly.”

I've always had good service from various staff members when I stop in to mail out packages. I don't feel rushed when I'm trying to choose which stamps I want. I have not had any bad experiences, ever, for the 13 years I've lived in South Buffalo. People also seem to complain about their mail carriers but ours is very friendly, accommodating and all around great.”

“I was trying to have several packages picked up. I’m unfamiliar with the process, So I reached out to my local post office, which is located on William Street in Buffalo. When I called the night before I spoke with Alicia, who was extremely helpful, Giving the important information I needed to make sure my package pick up went smoothly. When I called back the next morning to let them know I forgot to submit the online request she told me “no problem. I printed out and gave him the information from your prior request” she went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, even calling him after I had just missed him. He came back 10 minutes later and was nice as ever.”
“Hey, I read some of these reviews and I went with mixed feelings to this post office. I had to ship out a package. I was ready to fight.Surprisingly I didn't encounter a tornado. In contrast, it was a mild southern breeze. Fun aside, Kris made me feel welcome and greeted me with a smile and processed the package speedily and we even exchanged some friendly conversation.It seemed that the other workers were professional as well. Kris exceeded my expectations by far. Good job.”
