“I've been going to Tri Star for several years now and they have been absolutely wonderful. I never have long lead times to get an appointment and I have never been there more than 2 hours when waiting for maintenance on my vehicle. If I drop it off it's done same day. They are very thorough ensuring that they don't recommend things you don't need and have never tried to upsell me on additional services like many major car dealerships. BUT they always give it to you straight and don't try to sell you on extra stuff you don't need, they are quick workers who do good work. “Recently had taken my beat 2012 VW in for an o2 sensor. This was causing my engine light to turn on. They put it in and it was still causing it to turn on. They checked it out again and did the second job at no cost as it just required a little cleaning of the ends. Either way, they were very helpful during this stressful time as Places previous had taken advantage, stolen from me, etc. I would give them a 5/5 but the price was a little higher than what I'm used to. Either way though they did great service so I would say it's worth it in the end. If you want good service done to a european made car I would highly suggest you take it to these guys. Thanks guys!”
“Fantastic customer service.Went in at 1 pm for a wheel alighnment and was told to be back around 5 pm that day to pick up. Within an hour and half the mechanic norm was calling me explaining my situation and telling me i could come over now the vehicle was ready. The price he quoted to me was for the rear brakes and the State Inspection. Both times the owner and his staff went above and beyond to take the damaged areas back to good as new. They take their time and do amazing work. “I was driving to work when something seemed to fall off from under my car and was dragging on the ground. I pulled off into a parking lot and tried calling a few mechanics that were in the area. Five Star was the only one who picked up and told me to come right in. Ron introduced himself to me and took the time to show me what was going on underneath my car. Luckily it was an easy fix that took about 5 minutes (heat shield kept rusting out and falling, needed to be removed) and Ron did not charge me for it since we decided not to replace the part and it was a quick fix. I was very thankful for the fast service and thorough explanation, and needless to say, Five Star Automotive made what could have been a stressful morning into a very easy one!”

“I stopped in unexpectedly after finding a wire stuck in my tire. Chaz took a look at the tire right away and removed the wire. He could’ve charged me for his services. Instead, he removed the wire, and then tested it for leaks to make sure it had not punctured the tire, all free of charge. They were a godsend as I don’t live in the area and wasn’t sure if I was going to make it home on the tire. I was told by the people at Buffalo Respiratory to come to Monroe because they were honest and professional, and they weren’t wrong! If I lived closer I would definitely come back!”

“My car had been giving me problems with a draw on the battery since summer 2023. Took car to dealer where it was purchased, spent $1000.00 in repairs only to keep having same issues. Decided I didn’t have confidence in previous service. Frank Panaro suggested I bring car into BASIL FORD for service. Jeremy Burgess kept me informed daily on diagnostic tests. After 3 days problems were solved. Turns out a relay and control modular needed to be replaced and reprogrammed. Much to my surprise it was fully covered under Ford Emissions Warranty. I will continue to take my car to Basil Ford for service. They were fantastic, reliable, professional, friendly, and competent. Highly recommend BASIL FORD.”

“So I have a 20 year old Tacoma that is in great shape for its age and I noticed a rust bubble on the side of the bed, right above the fender flare. I want to keep the truck looking nice so my main priority was to make sure I find a shop that does good work.
I’ve known people that were very happy with the work dons did for them so I went there. They gave me a very reasonable quote and told me 3 days it should be ready. After the 4th or 5th day I called and they told me to come in the following day and it would be ready.
I realized why it took longer than originally thought when they told me what they had done to my truck. Wow, so not only did they take care of the rust bubble but they showed me pictures of underneath the fender flare and underneath the plastic strip on the top side of the bed. There was rust bubbling and actual rust that otherwise would be hidden without taking the parts off. They took care of all of that for me without making me pay extra. I will be going there for any type of body work I need from now on and possibly mechanical work as well. Truly thankful for the amazing work they did and extra mile they went for me.”
