Dodge YMCA in Brooklyn offers a good value for the price, especially given the high cost of gyms in the area. The facility is clean, well-organized, and staffed by friendly, helpful employees. Its high-quality classes are fun and engaging, making it a popular choice for members. The gym features a pool that is small but decent, with a warm and sometimes cloudy water, and can get crowded during busy times. The pool’s deep end is around 5-6 feet, and the water temperature can occasionally be too hot. The sauna and steam rooms are excellent, providing a luxury spa experience with effective functioning, though users are advised to be cautious of the intense heat. The wet and dry saunas are particularly praised. The gym also includes wet and dry saunas that are highly appreciated, though some wish for towel service. Members note some limitations, such as only one flat, incline, and decline bench press, which can cause wait times. The chlorine level in the pool is high, understandable due to the number of swimmers. Weekend hours are considered limited, especially given the membership price, and there is concern about the presence of middle and high school students during certain hours. Overall, Dodge YMCA is considered a convenient and enjoyable gym for those who use the pool or seek a clean, friendly environment, though some improvements could enhance the experience further.
Great pool, lane space usually available at lunch and early pm

Good pool, friendly staff. Deep end of the pool could have been deeper only around 5-6ft. Also, water is to hot some times.
