Chase Bank in the Pelham Bay section of the Bronx has received a mix of reviews. While some customers have had positive experiences, such as being assisted by helpful tellers like Ámbar and Denise, others have faced issues with non-working ATMs and incorrect community branding. The bank's lobby has undergone an upgrade, but the display incorrectly names the community as "Westchester Square" instead of Pelham Bay, which some customers find disrespectful. Despite bringing this issue to the manager's attention, the display remains unchanged. Additionally, customers have reported that the standalone ATMs in the area, especially in Manhattan, are often used as shelters by homeless individuals, causing inconvenience. However, the Chase ATM in Pelham Bay has a security guard on duty, providing a smoother experience for customers. Overall, Chase Bank offers a range of services, including checking, savings, and mobile banking, but the quality of the customer experience seems to vary across different branches and locations.
My Experience was a positive one. My wife and I were greeted by a security guard named Jeron who I believe works for Johnson Security Bureau. We were helped by Denise a teller who was also very pleasant. This will be my go to branch.

I was assisted by a girl named Ámbar and she is excellent. Everything she did was fast and I was successful with what came next. The services were in Spanish. Thank you

This location consistently has non-working ATMs. One was rejecting a perfectly OK debit card and another one was not accepting checks. Terrible customer experience.
