“I’ve never had problems barking here but I hear mixed reviews. They have a atm in the back and a drive through one as well. I usaly only go here if I need a money order or a certified check. Big parking lot and they keep the place clean witch is always nice.”
“I was prepared to hate this place when they took over my First Niagara branch. I was upset about First Niagara being sold and then I was surprised to learn that not all the branches would become Key Bank. I had never heard of this regional bank from northwest Pennsylvania. I marched in shortly after they opened planning to take all my money out and put it with a local bank like Evans or a credit union. I was greeted my friendly and knowledgeable employees, many who seemed familiar from the First Niagara days. I asked them why new customers were getting $200 for new accounts and I got nothing for the switch over in which I had no choice. They explained I had been grandfathered in to an excellent checking account with perks NWSB does not otherwise offer which includes free unlimited ATM withdrawals from an US ATM. I use online banking and the app quite frequently, but every once in awhile you need to pop into an actual branch. I'm lucky this is my local branch and glad that a bank would stay invested in this transitioning neighborhood where not too long ago, thus census tract had a median household income of about $27,000. A bank I can walk to where everyone is friendly and happy to see you. The security guard might actually be the nicest person in there, and he's certainly got stiff competition. What more could I want?”

“I went to Brockport,NY Chase Bank to make a vehicle payment and because I forgot my statement stub, the lady wouldn't process it, told me she couldn't help me with my car payment. I argue it, cause the phone representative told me I could show my drivers license and they would look it up. Bad experience ( 1 star Brockport), but this Chase in Buffalo, NY of Amherst street the greeter, and teller were amazing, friendly they assisted me with my car payment and she was very patient with me as I fumble the cash payment, as I wasn't expecting this kind of service. They were wonderful!”

“This has been my bank of choice for about 10 years now. Some of the tellers know me by name, it feels really good to walk into a bank and have a sincere conversation with tellers who know and remember you. Michelle is the best employee and it makes my day to see her. I feel safe keeping my money with them, that they won't nickle and dime me, I have never had to argue with a service rep about an overdraft fee. They have even moved money from my savings to my checking when I was about to overdraft to cover my butt. I am writing this review because they just called me to tell me that they found someone attempting fraud on one of my accounts. That is how much attention they pay to protecting their customers. As long as i live in buffalo, i will bank with BSCU.”

“I have been a member here since 1975. At no time during this time was I ever disappointed with the service that I received. Over the years, I have taken out several loans including a mortgage. Since Credit Unions have lower rates repayment was easier than through other venues Parking is plentiful, off street, and secured by fencing. Access is granted through a camera and buzzer system so security is never a concern. Due to the nature and location of the business, English and Ukrainian are spoken by the employees. The office is simple with no embellishments. There is no waiting room but I have never experienced more than a 5 minute wait for service. This is no "backwater" business. Online options equal to the banks are available including bill payment. If possible for you to join, you will never regret doing it”

“I've been with this branch since it was HSBC, before it moved locations. They always have a great, helpful, friendly staff. I'm on a first name basis with most of them now. The staff is great and there's not much turnover that I can see, so you get a great customer service experience pretty consistently here.”

“Normally I dread going into this bank branch but today I can say for the first time I left feeling good. The 5 star rating is strictly for Jada the teller who was hands down the best teller I’ve ever dealt with in this branch! Every other teller treats me like I’m a waist of their time or an inconvenience, never greeted and no small talk just stone cold typing that seems like attitude. It’s a miserable environment but Jada was happy and polite, she made small talk, she smiled, she told me to have a great day, all around wonderful human who made me feel like I was a person not a transaction! The rest of the tellers could take notes from her instead of being so cold, manager included! If I see her working from now on I won’t have the dread of walking in!”

OP is an uppity, real hoity toity kinda crowd so they are used to dealing with Karen’s. I’m not a Karen but I’d rather deal with nice people than the people at the Tonawanda branch who seem to have a problem for every solution.”

“I went in and spoke with Monica this morning regarding opportunities and support for starting a business. She was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful! She even went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, inviting both my dogs in to say hello! I have been walking by almost daily since moving back to the city. Anything that Monica felt was beyond her scope, she made sure to listen carefully; strategically approaching the challenges I presented with a "let's find out together!" approach, rather than acting "too busy" or worse, turning the questions back on me and making me feel insecure. I love that it is a physical location, a quick walk away from where I currently live for problem solving with a real human. “I have been with this credit union for over 10 years now and I've never had any problems. Service is always good, the cashier's are always friendly even when the lines are long. They helped me finance a couple cars and take a couple vacations.My biggest complaint is they really need an expanded parking lot if it's always going to be filled with oversized trucks, but I suppose that not really their fault.”
