“Great place to hang out and play whatever game you may be into. Board games, CCG's, TTRPG's, miniatures, etc. Whatever kind of gaming you're into, there is likely a day of the week (or multiple) that they have people there playing it.”
“Finnigan's remains the best card shop in the Capitol region. Jeff is a great owner, who knows cards, collects himself, and is always willing to share his knowledge with collectors old and new. This is my only recommendation if you are looking for a regular card shop in the Albany area.”

“Overall this seemed like a very cool hobby/game shop with a very active local community. I walked in and the place was buzzing with players engaging in what I think was a Magic: The Gathering tournament. I originally walked in to see if I could find some terrain for Warhammer 40k. They had a couple items but not what I was looking for. However, I was surprised by the amount of cool items they had in the back area like paperback science fiction novels, old comics and magazines, as well as collectibles and action figures. Will definitely visit again.”
“I took my developmentally disabled sister to Michael's at Crossgates Commons, Colonie, NY today. She lives in a nursing home and I take her out once a week for lunch, shopping or whatever she chooses. She wanted to buy art supplies today because she makes pictures and artifacts to give to her siblings and great neices and nephews for special occasions. The cashier, Teauna, couldn't have been nicer in directing my sister to the appropriate aisles for her shopping. As we were checking out, Teauna, noticed that my sis purchased a buy one get two free items promotion that she failed to notice. So my sister went to get the "free" item she was entitled to. Teauna is a valuable member of your staff, and I want to give her credit for representing Michael's in the best possible way. She was engaged and patient with us--simply a delight.
