“I’ve been to Locker Room 78 a few times, and I’ve been happy each time! Really good service and the shop owner is very knowledgeable. More sealed wax options than you can imagine, and plenty of raw and graded singles. Don’t be surprised that the shop is behind a house in a residential neighborhood…it’s well worth your time to stop over.”

“I was visiting the area for the weekend and decided to give this place a look. The parking leaves a little bit to be desired, but the actual facility itself is wonderful!When you first walk in, the store area itself feels a little on the smaller side, but is super well-stocked with a ton of cards for various games.Going further in, there are displays containing items from various games, including some very cool and old Dungeons and Dragons modules/books.The actual play area was staggeringly big. The property seems to have been an industrial garage/warehouse at one point so there’s two main play areas that can host something like 60-80 some-odd people with tables to match. There’s space for more than one event to be going on at once. (And not even feel truly crowded, at that.)What really shocked me was the fact that even with all this area to play, they have a full cafe setup! You can order various fast-food options like chicken-on-a-stick (which I had. it was great.), burgers, fries etc. It was nice to not have to go looking for food in other areas or come prepared with food/drink for a long gaming session.The staff was also very professional and welcoming too. I spent a good deal of time speaking with Alec, who showed me around the venue and was super helpful in finding some specific cards I’d been looking for. Thanks Alec!All in all, this place is worth your time if you’re a local or visiting. Highly recommended.”

“First time checking this place out. My husband was absolutely blown away with the collection of magic cards and there condition. Also had model kits and RC cars and honestly so much more. Inside is very clean and pretty well organized and the employees we interacted with were personable and easy to talk with. We will be back for sure we definitely didn't see all this shop has to offer. (I'm new to cards but my husband has enjoyed it for quite some time)”

“I took my developmentally disabled sister to Michael's at Crossgates Commons, Colonie, NY today. She lives in a nursing home and I take her out once a week for lunch, shopping or whatever she chooses. She wanted to buy art supplies today because she makes pictures and artifacts to give to her siblings and great neices and nephews for special occasions. The cashier, Teauna, couldn't have been nicer in directing my sister to the appropriate aisles for her shopping. As we were checking out, Teauna, noticed that my sis purchased a buy one get two free items promotion that she failed to notice. So my sister went to get the "free" item she was entitled to. Teauna is a valuable member of your staff, and I want to give her credit for representing Michael's in the best possible way. She was engaged and patient with us--simply a delight. “I enjoy coming here, I pick up items like toploader sleeves, regular sleeves, bought some single booster packs, bought board games, and have purchased comics. I'm a big fan of Predator and they had a 1:25 variant, I was so proud to get it back at a 9.8! The owner and his staff I think do a great job displaying their products and also placing them in ways they are secured and protected.The prices for some stuff is a little higher than average, but I won't knock a star for that. Small businesses were hurt pretty good from COVID, I am amazed Zombie still stands.What I respect about the owner is that he is pretty aware of enthusiasts vs. collector vs. speculators. To me, he loves to see people enjoy their hobbies and adventures in collection. But for people who think they're slick, you gotta give the owner more credit than that.They were a WOTC employee at one point in time, you don't think he knows you are trying to pull funny business on him? Haha.Thanks for the wonderful experience every time I go even if I don't purchase something. I appreciate how your store is laid out and love to look at everything when I can.Oh! They do tournaments locally so check it out!”
