The director has no clue what he's doing and is the exact reason the store keeps going downhill like crazy.

Everyone was really friendly. Two of the employees helped me put heavy furniture into the truck I rented and had useful advice on how to pack everything safely for travel. Several employees let me know about different discounts I could be eligible for too. The quality of all the furniture was great with a lot of solid wood and glass options. A little damage on some things, but that's to be expected with second hand items. The furniture is much cheaper than what you could get new or at an antique store too. Example: A full size china cabinate for $75 that I wouldn't be surprised to see being sold for 700 (or even twice that!) somewhere else. A great place to get a great deal!

The selection isn't really that great since they've moved and it seems like a lot less now but what they do have is decent stuff.

Went to the new location across the street twice now. It’s awful. Inventory has been cut by what seems to be about 75%. Hardly anything there. It’s sad because the warehouse used to be amazing.

The attitude of employee (girl) needs a swift kick in the A$$. Extremly rude and not friendly.

Make sure you check hours, and call even though it can be impossible to get ahold of anyone. Often closed when they say they are open. Not a great selection and overpriced but sometimes you can find something. Should and could be a lot better. Huge missed opportunity.

They use to be good, since they moved across the street almost everything is overpriced and sits in the store for weeks or months needing multiple markdowns before it’s sold. I found items that are from Dollar Tree marked $4, I told the cashier and she looked up from scrolling on her phone and said “I don’t make the prices” and went back to scrolling. Even their sales are mediocre, they always had 50% off sales, now they only do 25% sales after marking the stuff up too high to begin with. The store looks like it’s running out of room because they’re not selling enough. I thought they were great because they were keeping stuff out of the landfills, but since their prices are so high now they can’t take donations half the time so people just have to put their furniture out on garbage night.

Lovely second hand store filled with pre loved furniture, glassware, home finishings, decor, so on and forth. Only thing I dislike is they do not help load furniture. :( I get all the reasons why they don't/ can't but something to be aware of when going. I also noticed the prices seem higher lately but what isn't- however they offer discounts for multitude of people.

Went to the new location across the street from the old one and boy was I disappointed. The selection was lousy, what they did have was ridiculously overpriced, and to top it all off the place smells like mildew/mold. Maybe the one in Schenectady is in better shape so I’ll check it out but my hopes aren’t too high. Very disappointed and needless to say I left empty handed. It’s too bad because it used to be a good experience.

I feel bad leaving a negative review for a charity shop. Five stars for Habitat, but not for this store. We went to Restores back in Iowa and Indiana all the time. There were brightly lit, well managed, and full of useful materials, tools, and furniture. (One even had a tool lending library-- I miss those days.) This Restore was a real shock. We came hoping to find some end tables and/or a rug. We left quickly because the store was a mess. Lots of stuff, but poorly organized and a lot of it seemed way overpriced. A lot fewer tools and materials for building projects too. I mostly found myself wondering how they stayed open!

This used to be a great place to find vintage furniture that needed some TLC or imagination. Now it seems that the quality of items donated has really changed.

This store used to be much better with more inventory when under different management. Keeping in mind that everything is donated, the prices can sometimes be too high. They have very limited days open and now require same day pickup of items. If you don't have a truck for large items the day you purchase, you are out of luck.
