This used to be a great place to find vintage furniture that needed some TLC or imagination. Now it seems that the quality of items donated has really changed.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell building materials, appliances, new and gently used furniture, and home accessories at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat ReStores use their proceeds to help build or improve homes locally and around the world. Habitat for Humanity Capital District has operated its local ReStore since September 2005. Habitat builds and sells homes with an affordable mortgage to first-time homebuyers in Albany, Rensselaer and southern Saratoga counties.
