“My experience with Yvonne was outstanding. I am plus-sized - my street size is an 18-20 or 2XL, and the two other bridal salons I tried did not have dresses that I could comfortably step into or even get over my head. But BGBY? Not even a question, baby! I didn't have to squeeze at all - everything fit me and zipped up and some even needed to be clipped to be smaller to fit me.

Even more important - especially to my mom who was paying for the dress - was that Yvonne respected our budget 100000% and did not bring me any dresses that were outside my limit. Furthermore, when asked about the cost of alterations, she had a very specific answer, none of that "well it depends" nonsense. She also was able to tell us definitively if certain things could be changed, added, or removed from different dresses and not only how that process works with her in-house alterations service but also offered her advice and expertise as to what those changes would cost and look like.

She listened to all our feedback and brought dresses that fit EXACTLY what I was looking for. I decided to sleep on the decision and asked to make another appointment to try one different style of dress before officially saying "yes to the dress" and she was SO accommodating, picked some dresses that were the different style, and also helped me try on some accessories with The Gown to get an idea of what I will look like on my wedding day.

But the one thing I keep going back to was how completely welcomed I felt as a woman in a large body. I never felt like a burden or like I was taking up too much space or like I "couldn't" try something on that interested me because of the size of my body.

Also - for what it's worth, my maid of honor and mother also loved the experience and felt very comfortable in the room with me - which was private and we had to ourselves for the entire appointment. I really cannot say enough amazing things about this business.”

“I absolutely loved my experience at Love Story. It was the first and only place I went to try on wedding dresses. We were doing a planned elopement outside in a Glacier National Park but I still wanted a traditional
