Tullivers Pet Food Emporium
807 Cerrillos Rd, Santa FeAbsolutely love Tullivers! From the minute you walk in, you know that this store is about true love for pets. We are completely grateful for the variety of amazing high quality food, treats, and supplements - toys, clothes, and products – and healing essentials (especially the homeopathic and holistic)… not to mention the awesome discounts and support for local pet businesses. Plus, the staff is exceptional. They know their products in and out of the store, are extremely warm and friendly, and treat you and your pet(s) like you matter. We couldn’t be happier with the kindness we’ve always received from Lorenzo, Patty, and Hannah, as well as the owner, Ellen. There’s nothing better than having an establishment that makes you feel like part of the family. Santa Fe is very lucky to have a store like this. Some may feel it’s a bit expensive. But from our experience, it has saved our furry kindred pack from having to go down an even more expensive health path. We give Tullivers 5 stars and 100 more! Thank you for caring so much! We appreciate you!!!

I want to thank Cheryl for her kind expertise and sound advice. She recommended new and wonderful products for him to try. He heartily ate everything last night and this morning. I fed him kibble, tripe and Zignature food, which was a big departure from his prior dog food. I am forever grateful!

Eldorado Animal Clinic
20 N Chamisa Dr, Santa FeMy wife and I moved to Santa Fe in October of 2020, from Wyoming. We needed a close Vet for our dogs and cat. We found the Eldorado Animal Clinic and I made contact with them.
From the first contact they were friendly, courteous, helpful, very professional and efficient, and their facility also made a very good impression. I have found them to be very nice people, and they have taken excellent care of the minor needs of our animals to this point. We trust them to take good care of our animals for whatever needs they (our pets) may require in the future also!

Smith Veterinary Hospital: Breden Yvette DVM
600 Alta Vista St, Santa FeFrom one visit, I'd say this is the place I would take a pet you're concerned about in Santa Fe. After multiple visits to eldorado vet and Route 66 in ABQ, it continually felt like no one was even looking at the tests and images they took and charged me for. At the time of writing this, the best way to have a pet seen is to show up and be ready to be admitted at 7:30am. Due to their corporate ownership they are understaffed, like all of the vets in Santa Fe. Dr. Breer and the tech who's name I've really unfortunately forgotten were the first people out of 3 vets that showed care and concern for my puppy, and more so, also could tell I was pretty taxed myself and offered to let me step out and eat for the first time in the day and take a bit of a breather. We are on to a 4th vet for more tests, but under the circumstances, this was the first vet visit since my dog's illness that was caring and had a direction to pursue. Thank you.

Animal Clinic
1500 Cerrillos Rd, Santa FeTook my little two year cat here after a trip to the ER after he stopped eating/drinking. The team and Dr. Hinko not only squeezed me into his tight Friday schedule to check on my cat, but stopped me from spending more money on treatment that was not needed. My little guy is now feeling much better and back to his normal self, which is such a relief. I can not recommend this clinic enough.

Dr. Mike Dobesh, DVM
600 Alta Vista St, Santa FeBeen coming back here again after using another local vet for a while. Vet care in this town has gone down hill hard recently and just having terrible experiences. So gave Smith a second shot since I used to really like these guys, and have always really appreciated how I could just walk in there when I needed to. My two recent experiences here have just been stellar. Great docs. Great assistants. Great receptionists, too! Just took my dog in for an infected lump that really needed to be seen, and couldn't have been happier or more impressed. They are super busy, like all the other vets in town, but somehow managed to not compromise great customer care. UNLIKE everywhere else I have tried. Yes, I tried to leave Smith Vet but so glad I decided to go back. My dog is happy too! I know where I'm going in future.

Pet Sitting & Training
Santa Fe Tails
2109 Warner Cir, Santa FeI can't say enough good things about Santa Fe Tails for day care, boarding and training. My two small shih tzus are not the usual larger clients, and I was concerned they might be stressed in the ever-changing pack. But they quiver when we arrive and strain on their leashes to get inside. Hannah the trainer gave me a solid base for training my dog, not only in class but also for the future. She explained why and how the techniques work, and I've used those methods to add fun tricks or discourage unsocial behaviors in my pups. We have also boarded for up to a week at a time and had no problems. The staff cares about their clients (and even gets excited when my dogs come in). They may not know my name, but they know my dogs' names. And that's just great by me.

Faithful Friends Dog Training, LLC.
1807 2nd St Ste. #42, Santa FeA review from two first-time puppy people: Deb is the best! Deb helped us learn how to empathize with Toad and try to see the world through his eyes. We loved our puppy from the minute he came home, but our relationship with him really transformed for the better over the course of Puppy Elementary, Deb gave us structure to work with and a dose of compassion for our puppy to take home with us as he learned (and weekly homework activities!). We felt like we got a lot of individual attention despite it being a group class and all of us bonded with Deb (especially Toad, who loved her!) We totally recommend Faithful Friends to anyone who could use help with focused activities to help their dog adjust to the human world. Her approach is professional, positive, and thoughtful, and she’s hilarious and an all around fun person to spend an hour with each week.

Country Boarding Kennels Inc
27712 W Frontage Rd, Santa FeI recently moved to New Mexico from San Diego and was worried about where I was going to board my dogs when traveling. Since, I have used Country Boarding Kennels twice and recently my dogs where there for 3 weeks. Even though I was worried about my dogs, I knew the Staff at Country Boarding Kennels would take very good care of them. They even called me towards the end of my vacation to let me know how my dogs were doing. I am very confident they take care and love my dogs like their own and I will always be using Country Boarding Kennels for my future travels; unless of course I can take my dogs with me. :)

Sage Bakehouse
535 Cerrillos Rd C, Santa FeThis bakery is located right in front of Hotel Santa Fe. We have been staying at the hotel and one of the guests recommended this place to us and told us that it was a great place for breakfast. We went here this morning at 7:30, which is the time that they open. There was already a line out the door. Wow! We ordered a Panini with ham and fontina cheese for breakfast and several pastries to take home with us. Including their famous almond croissant, that was highly recommended here in Yelp. Not only the food is fantastic, but the service is outstanding too. Even though the house was full, they took the time to give us recommendations and help us with our order. Next time that we are in Santa Fe, we're definitely coming here.

Mille
451 W Alameda St, Santa FeFun place if you can find it. A little tricky to find the parking yard. Place was busy, but we found a parking spot and headed into France. Ordered the Brunch for two. Very intriguing at $30. Two slices quiche, two 6" French stick portions with jam and butter, two Croissants and two bowls of coffee. We split the quiches - Quiche Lorraine and Quiche Florentine. Both were delicious; light and fluffy, and generous portions. Never did get to eat the croissants. Too full with the other offerings. Will save them for tomorrow when we hit the road for AZ. We sat outside under a covered roof, temp was comfortable. Indoor and open air seating available. Orders are placed at the bakery counter and brought to the table. Service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend without any reservations. Thought the fare was very good value given the pricing structure in Santa Fe. Good sign was cougars and young eligibles being courted. We were able to get a corner table and just observe the action.

3749 NM-14, Santa FeWonderful place for old animals. The person complaining about their 17 yr old dog: sounds like she had a point not taking your dog. You obviously were trying to drop off a grieving dog to a stranger at a vulnerable time at the very end of its life for your convenience and then you make it out to be the shelter’s problem. They have many animals to save and choices to make and your inconvenience does not factor into it... anyway, the world needs more animal sanctuaries, more aware and compassionate humans, and more respect for the environment and our animals. This place is more of what we need.

Felines & Friends is a volunteer based organization, and they take such amazing care of these cats. Each person I have met that works for F&F has been so caring and passionate about what they do. I am so grateful they are around, and that I was able to adopt such a beautiful cat from them.
