The time estimates can be on the long side, but both times I've had my car worked on, they've finished days or weeks earlier than scheduled with great results. “We had traveled from Kansas City to Las Cruces last week. Only two hours into our trip we began hearing a noise from the muffler area. My husband crawled underneath the car and determined that it was not going to be a problem as we continued our trip. We got into Las Cruces Saturday evening. My husband looked online and found Valley Muffler. He drove there Monday morning and arrived 10 minutes before opening. He called the phone number listed and Ernest came right out. He diagnosed the problem, offered two solutions then fixed the problem all within 30 minutes for a very reasonable price. We are very thankful for Ernest and his thoughtfulness to get us in immediately and fix our problem. The trip home was much more quiet!”

Staff is awesome and very knowledgable.....Tgis place even helped me fix an Autizone problem.Drive to this store!!!!!!This is a newer store, or it has been taken care of very well. Wide isles, clean floors and a staff that is ready ro help with expert advice.This store has a very large inventory, and very rarely do they need to order anything for you. And if they special order anything for you, it arrives that day, or by next morning.Easy to find items that you may need, due to 2 main isles and clearly marked overhead inventory descriptions for all the rows.They can troubleshoot engine light issues and battery/alternator issues quickly for free, saving you hundreds at the auto repair shop just to tell you what is wrong.They loan out tools that are very expensive so you do not need to purchase to only use one time.Never a wait, and you seem to always be first in line.During my last visit in March 2023, I was telling a sales associate Lisa the problems I was having across the street at AutoZone and Lisa immediately gave me a 10% discount and told me to never go back to them, and do all my auto parts shopping here from now on.This store on the west side of Las Cruces is never busy, so drive here for faster friendlier service for all your auto parts needs.”
“I brought my car in for an electrical diagnostic after I was told that my fairly new battery wouldn’t hold a charge. They squeezed my vehicle in to the work schedule and had the issue worked out in just a few hours. Turns out my new battery had a bad cell that the battery shop had missed during their check. K&S had the batteries swapped in no time at all and I was able to pick my vehicle up before noon that same day. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re having any electrical issues or if you just need a second opinion. Great people and service!Services: Electrical repair”
