Carol is the best. In these few weeks she has worked on strength training, balance and endurance. I was shocked at how weak many of my muscles are and my balance also was very off. She works with light weights and stretch bands and by the end of the hour I get a much better workout then spending 1.5 hrs in the gym. It’s a perfect workout with Carol!

i've been taking classes with Carol for over 2 years now and I can't say enough about her. First of all she knows a plethora of different exercises which makes her classes very effective. I truly look forward to doing her zoom classes 3x week. She is also the kindest of individuals. When the war broke out in Ukraine, she donated her class earnings to them. I am eternally grateful for her balance exercises. Recently, I was carrying a glass table over my head walking down steps and slipped on a garden hose. I felt myself going down. Miraculously I rebalanced (an act of God and Carol's balance exercises) and did not fall!! As I watched the look on my friend's face of horror, he commented, "I saw you going down hard and I don't know how you were able to balance yourself. It's miraculous you didn't fall."

I highly recommend Carol Michaels Fitness. I have Osteoporosis and am taking regular classes with Carol. She makes sure the entire body is exercised during each session, and offers a variety of options for different levels. Her detailed and clear explanations are easy to follow and make sure everyone is performing the exercise correctly. I have benefited greatly from her expertise and knowledge!

Carol is an amazing trainer. She runs small group sessions so everyone gets personalized attention. Carol explains how to do each exercise and the muscle groups it targets. If you're truly looking to be fit, you should try a session with Carol.

I've been taking classes regularly with Carol for about three years and I recommend them highly. Carol is very knowledgeable about all aspects of health and fitness and she stays current on new developments. So glad I found Carole! She has helped me recover from breast cancer surgeries and I feel stronger than ever. Carole's workouts are diversified and targeted. She encourages you to challenge yourself yet is cognizant and knowledgable of limitations due to scar tissue, range of motion etc.. Love the flexibility of scheduling too.

I started taking classes with Carol as part of an adult school program and continued with weekly sessions after the classes ended. I find carol is very sensitive about any concerns you have. Classes go fast, she constantly introducing new variations to an exercise. Her sessions are very rewarding and enjoyable.

Carol is the best! She is a joy to work with. Her Pilates sessions are challenging but always fun and varied. She is mindful of individual needs and shares her wealth of knowledge regarding all aspects of fitness and rehabilitation. As a very fit exercise enthusiast I was extremely grateful to have found Carol . While undergoing chemotherapy and physical therapy for breast cancer , Carol was highly recommended. She is an excellent trainer, knows how to change it up, and challenges me constantly. My doctors say that I'm doing exceptionally well and stress the importance of exercise. Carol who is very warm and caring, is also incredibly knowledgeable about post bc recovery and rehab. I don't worry that I'm going to overdue it when she trains me, yet I know that I'm getting a great workout every time. She's one of the best around!

I have attended Carol's group fitness classes for several years and have been training with her one-on-one for almost a year. Of the many group training classes and personal trainers I've had (at top gyms in New York City), Carol is above and beyond my favorite. She personalizes her routines to the individual needs and goals of her clients, and she provides invaluable nutritional and fitness advice based on her extensive study of the latest and most reliable research in the field. Since I've been working with Carol, my overall health, fitness level and sense of well-being has greatly improved.
