“I live up the street from this wonderful small corner store. The butcher's in the back are very friendly and helpful. The fish market has the freshest and such a great variety. Lastly, the girls behind the the counter are always friendly , ready to help you with anything. My only complaint is that they close at 1:30pm on Sundays.”

“I got the gravy master and it always hits the spot. The garlic toasted sub has those nice charred bits. I do not like too much cheese so they strike a good balance for me on the mozzarella. Leaving the best part for last -- the roast beef is fresh and the gravy lets it all melt in your mouth. Yum!Parking: Easy to find a spot to park in the mall.”

Whenever I want to get a good kosher pastrami sandwich, I always had to drive to kosher nosh in Teaneck! Well that’s over. I found this place and I couldn’t be happier. They even had the calves feet bones that I have been searching for , for over a month to make my grandmas old school p’tcha. They were super friendly and I couldn’t be happier about this establishment. Thanks again!!”

“Phenomenal First Time Experience at Sacco's Meat Market. This is a straight throwback to old school Italian American culture. The owner was so helpful and cheerful. Loved seeing all the meats hanging all over the place. The steak sandwich was honestly one of the best I've eaten ever! It was so flavorful and tender ... I loved the bread and the sweet peppers as well. It was well worth the price! I definitely can't wait to go back to try the other sandwiches.”

“This store is really special, and has easily grown into one of my top three favorite spots in Montclair. It certainly has the feel of days gone by in all the best of ways. The food is fresh, they have an immaculate menu of sandwiches (and this includes for vegetarians!) and ready-mades. They also have a really fantastic, specialized selection of dried pastas, snacks, sauces, jams, etc. My husband and I went for the first time earlier this month and we were really blown away by this gem. The staff and (who I presumed to be) the owner are courteous, clearly work hard, and are friendly. I asked for several different sandwiches, half a pound of their homemade turkey breast, and some premades, and it seemed to be during a rush hour. I had a question about their selections, and while the staff that was helping me didn't know the answer, she didn't blow over it and instead made sure to check with the owner. This was in the middle of rush hour and there was a strong and consistent line of people; the owner, in spite of all the running around and multitasking, made sure to get me an answer and responded in such a kind and friendly way. It really made me nostalgic for more specialty stores that are run by actual people instead of a generic, mass marketed, one stop capitalist shop. Truly, Rosario's reinforces the ideology of 'shop local.' Highly recommend!”

“Park on the street and walk into shipping office in the back. If the door is locked press the buzzer and somebody will come out and tell you what door to back into. Looks pretty small on all the maps but there is enough space to maneuver and back into doors. Appointment was at 6 a.m. out by 6:30 am. Fast unload”
