Visited Burberry today and was followed around and watched like a hawk from a saleswoman and other staff. She watched me touching a bag that I wanted and was not assisted by anyone in any way. They lost a sale today. I walked out feeling extremely uncomfortable and judged by my appearance. Disgusting behavior to customers.

What an unpleasant visit with an associate name Ellen. I refuse to go here again. I will just make my way to Paramus mall where they are more kind with great customer service

I’m a soul believer that a great experience and brand is due to the customer service. My husband and I have visited many high brand stores. However, it’s rare to receive the education of the brand, welcoming approach and natural experience Tina Chen has always provided us with. She has completely sold us on the brand and experience due to our every encounter with her. When we walk in we feel like family. Thank you and see you soon Tina!

Ordered a wallet for customization as a Christmas gift was told on that Monday that it would be ready to pick up two days later. Today I called the location early in the morning and they said to come and pick it up around 2-3 pm. I come to the store to find out that my gift was not worked on and the person who does this IS NOT EVEN WORKING. Terrible experience.

Got a trench here and while experience was good they forgot to include a garment bag and didn’t realize until I got home. I had purchased a fairly expensive jacket and would have liked to properly store it. I contacted the store and was helped by Troy who called me and sent me one right away, he was responsive and very polite. He kept me updated throughout the whole process and was accommodating! Great customer service!

For the holidays, my best friend who also works for the company gifted me a trench. She said Burberry offered complimentary tailoring so I called the Short Hills location and was told I could walk in without an appointment.When I visited the location, I was greeted warmly by an Asian female sales associate in her 60s. She was friendly albeit pushy. She let me know the tailor had just left but we could do the measurements. I tried on my trench for her and she was adamant I exchange it for a smaller size. When I refused to exchange it and wanted to make an appointment for the tailor, she obliged and said she needed the number associated with the purchase. I said I didn’t know and gave her the gift receipt with all of my friend’s details. She refused to look at it and insisted on a phone number. After a bit of back and forth, she realized my friend worked for Burberry as well. She barely spoke another word to me, turned on her heel almost immediately and walked away from me.I guess she doesn’t have any friends or family to buy gifts for, because I doubt she’d want her family to be treated like this.

I purchased a large tote several years ago. I visited the short hills location thinking they offered complimentary cleaning and repair service. I wanted to get the hardware repaired because it is tarnishing. The sales woman turned her nose up at me, slid a business card for a Morristown bag repair business that I am sure will charge me a small fortune and looked disappointed that I wasn't there to purchase another bag. I subsequently visited the Coach store in the same mall on the same day and and was offered free cleaning and repairs should I ever need it. Guess who will continue to get my business? I am scaling back my high end luxury bag shopping moving forward and sticking with what is tried and true. A company that offers quality products at reasonable prices and offers excellent custumer service. So tired of the Burberrys of the world thinking they are above good customer service in addition to thinking that I should feel privileged just for shopping there. It is the exact opposite and I do not plan to ever buy a bag from them again.

Ask for Vanessa!! She is the best, super understanding, professional and patient. She even offered sparkling water during my time in the store. I thought she was the manager.

I was lucky enough to have Mr Romeo guide me through the store. He was so fun and not pushy. I didn’t buy anything, but I got his card and now I know who to go see in the future.
