I didn't know cats got herpes, the kind that cause cold sores, which was such a relief. The medication and gel for hair balls cost more than Amazon, but I don't know if the herpes medication is available there. The wellness visit was affordable, plus the medication was $140, which isn't bad, especially knowing the vet we took our dogs to years ago charges $900 to spay large breeds! The front desk told us that cats were $70-80 and 40-70lb dogs were $200. At most, they would coat $300. This is good to know since we have a German Shepherd we got as a puppy. The vet and techs were gentle and compassionate, I was very satisfied with using this place in the future!”
“We are longstanding clients. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable and expert. We are highly satisfied with the care our cats receive. Animal Haven is consistently excellent!”
“The doctor was kind, informative, and wasn't after the all mighty buck. Yes I ended up getting more done and purchased items there because I felt he had my ?'s health at the forefront and a long-term plan not my wallet.”
“My husband and I took our Bella to Dr. Syder for the first time today. She was very professional and through. Her vet techs were great. They all took wonderful care of our dog. The prices are reasonable there. They didn't try to sell us everything we don't need.”
“I had to put down my 17 year old dog today and they couldn't be kinder under the circumstances. The price was much much lower than the vet's. I appreciated their taking me back to the vet so quickly upon my arrival. Also appreciated their explanations and obvious sympathy.”

Dr. Julian sincerely cares about all the animals and you can feel it in his actions. If you're in need of a small animal vet Dr. Julian is definitely the way to go.”
“Wincrest saved my almost 15 year old German Shepard mix girl twice when she got pancreatitis, once from chocolate, and the other time from cat vomit. I appreciate that and drive the extra 10 miles to Wincrest.”

When our animals quality of life has deteriorated due to serious illness or aging they have been kind in delivering the diagnosis and, when the time came, euthanizing the animal. On the one occasion one of the vets could nit find an effective treatment for one of our dogs, they sent us to the University of Pennsylvania. It turned out there was no effective treatment as the poor girl had been severely neglected, to the point of cruelty, by her previous owner. We highly recommend them.”
“Dr. Rider is thorough and efficient and sharp. He caught an issue my dog had that other vets did not. He won't blow sunshine at you but he will take eccentric care of your pet with 50 years of experience. I've been a vet tech and work in medicine and appreciate his no nonsense approach and very reasonable fees. Thank you Sir! Your staff is lovely and caring too. ❤️”
