“Well let me start by saying I'm from Alabama and hate that I can't pick this place up and take it with me . From the service ,presentation, to the quality it's top tier. I had a burger from Cj's burgers (one of the best burgers I have ever had) also my husband and I shared a family meal with the whole chicken, ribs, seasoned vegetables, and roasted potatoes. My oh my you talking bout good eating the meat texture and flavor was superb and artistically prepared. New Jersey is blessed to have this jewel in their city.....thanks for such a great experience ? “I was greeted upon entry there were other people that appeared to be regulars. I was asked if I needed help but it was first time so I said I had no decided on everything yet. They gave me time and a gentleman helped I told him I didn't quite need the plans posted but wanted to come up with my own. He said that was fine and I told him what I needed and he went and got everything and rang me up. Bottom line this where I'm getting my meat from now on.?? ?? ?? ??”

“If you're polish you will find everything you may need here - just like back home. Including some cosmetics, magazines and medicines. Selection is huge for a pretty small place. Meats, cheeses and cold cuts are top quality. They also have hot food which is way better than in most Polish restaurants in the area. Selection includes soups and desserts. Perfect place to get your polish supplies or to experience Polish homemade food.”

Whenever I want to get a good kosher pastrami sandwich, I always had to drive to kosher nosh in Teaneck! Well that’s over. I found this place and I couldn’t be happier. They even had the calves feet bones that I have been searching for , for over a month to make my grandmas old school p’tcha. This place has everything you would need for a BBQ they offer a variety of spices and different types of meat. This place is my to go place for affordable high quality cuts of meat. I walked out of here with 3 lbs of chicken breasts and spent between 5-6 dollars. This butcher shop is really affordable and so far good quality meat. Newarkians should check it out. “I am updating my post. I received my items and the delay was due to supply delay. I not only received my items and received a credit for out of stock items. American Butcher sent me some extra goodies for my trouble. I will be ordering from them again really soon!! I highly recommend the steakhouse burgers and of course the Thuman hot dogs!!! It's like having a little of Jersey in Florida!!I have ordered in the past and had no issues at all. Great service and products!!! I placed an order on 1/31 and have yet to receive my order. I sent an email and was told the order was lost by FedEx and a reship was being sent with an additional item for my troubles . That order was never shipped out. I followed up with emails and also sent message on FB. No response!! I don’t want to dispute with Amex but unfortunately I feel like I have no choice!! I would rather have my order. I understand that things happen but the lack of communication is what is so troubling. Very disappointing.”
