“The store is clean and easy to get around. They have most everything I have needed. Fair pricing.
7-2-24 today I need toilet repair parts. Found them quickly and reasonably priced. Now on my way home to fix the toilet.”
“One of the smaller Depots but usually pretty well stocked up. All registers are self checkout but the one by the equipment rental/contractor exit and of course that's where the line of customers will be”
“I was in the store on 11/10/2023 and I came back because I had very good service last time. The person who helped me was really nice and very helpful. This place is a hidden gem.”
“I’ve been going to Home Depot for many years. I’m a particular fan of their Behr brand paint. I am new to this immediate area, so this Lawnside location is new to me. I have to say, the employees I encountered were EXCELLENT. Janai (sp?) in the paint department was amazing. She was very friendly, approachable, pleasant, professional, and, most importantly, KNOWLEDGABLE! It was a pleasure to work with her to select my paints and she made great recommendations as far as the right type and color of primer for my door, etc. I have a good basic knowledge of painting and some experience, but it was very helpful to have her explain options, the differences, what works best where, etc.
At one point while Janai was mixing my paint (there was another very friendly and helpful young man working with her whose name I did not get), I went to look at window shutters. I was having trouble finding them so I asked a gentleman working in building materials. He pointed me back in the right direction, gave me the aisle number and told me where exactly I’d find them. He could not have been more professional or seem happier to help me. I headed down towards the shutters which was quite a ways down, as I had walked right past them before. When I went to turn down the aisle, I heard him call from just behind me to remind me EXACTLY where they were. He went out of his way and just provided excellent customer service. I wish I had gotten his name because I love to give great employees recognition and gratitude. He appeared to be a light skin black man (sorry for the poor description) guessing maybe mid-50s to mid-60s and he wore glasses if I remember correctly. He was working in the lumber wood area and basically walked with me to the shutters. I would love for management to recognize this gentleman and Janai for being great to their customers.”
“Went in today and why is this store never staffed I found one person working on a forklift. They stopped what they were doing to help me and then returned to what they were doing meanwhile there was a group of managers at the service desk who ignored me when I walked by”
“LOWES had what I was looking for. Plus met some very pleasant people who work there and I got to help out a lady looking for a tool. Very pleasant home improvement center”
“Visited Lowe’s this morning on Aramingo Ave and would like to acknowledge, Jack ( retired / Veteran) who went out of way to assist me with getting an area rug. He was pleasant, personable and a definite asset to your workplace. Thank you again Jack!”
“Ordered a refrigerator from lowes website for next day pick up, at the lowes in lawnside. we needed one asap since ours went out. when we got there the refrigerator box was damaged and so was the access panel on the back. We spoke with the store manager Nigel and he was very helpful. Although they did not have an exact replacement I was able to pick out another refrigerator and was given a discount on top of it from Nigel for the inconvenience we went through! This lowes has good costumer service.”

“Expected to arrive at this Home Depot around 9pm, an hour before they close. I live in Philly, and am about a 20min drive from this location. One detour and two wrong turns later, I arrived 20-30min before they closed. I'd had a very long, and frustrating day, and walked into the store completely frantic and distracted. Wasted 15min looking at tiles, absent all problem solving and decision making skills. Next thing I know, I'm being guided to the other aisle I needed. Found empty packaging for the product I was looking for, had zero f**ks left, when the manager Jason appeared asked if he could help. The store had officially closed, but he grabbed a ladder to get the item down from top stock, and helped me figure out exactly what else I needed in conjunction with the tool. I was *shocked* by how calm, patient, and genuinely kind Jason was; I rarely come across people like him who provide excellent customer service, plus, go beyond what's expected in order to help someone. Jason helped me for what I'm guessing was 20min past closing; he wasn't irritated, and smiled and joked while helping me. He successfully exorcised my crappy mood, and I left with a smile on my face, feeling much calmer than I had for most of my day. More people deserve to know that being their genuine selves, and providing help to someone who needs it--no matter how big or small--made a positive impact on another person's day.”
“0650, Saturday morning: Jim in lumber, thank you for helping load all my lumber. You didn’t have to, and I could tell you had 10 other things you were working on, but you took the time to help load. Very much appreciate the help! This store is a bit less busy and crazy than others, always enjoy this store.”
“Had to run to the store for my boss. Needed a power tool I was unfamiliar with. Chuck in the department with his helper Kevin was able to pick out what I needed. 100% recommend going to this store.”
“Lowe’s Home Improvement is a solid option for home projects, offering a wide selection of tools, appliances, and building materials. Their stores are generally well-organized, making it easy to find what you need. Prices are competitive, and they often have good deals on seasonal items.
Customer service can be hit or miss—sometimes you’ll find knowledgeable staff ready to help, while other times it may take a while to get assistance. Overall, it’s a reliable place for home improvement needs, but the shopping experience can vary depending on the location and time of visit.”
“Everybody in here is an expert in their field for the most part. Very helpful when you need to get a little bit of guidance on a project. They're also present and easy to find- and if they don't know they'll help you find somebody who does. I always liked this store - ever since Builders Square closed. Keep up the good work!”
“Purchased a DEWALT sliding nailer. Went back and checked that instead of the nailer there was some ryobi saw in it , came back to the store to return it immediately with in a hour of purchase and Kelly in the returns section was very helpful to make a return and allowed me to get a switch on the item for me.”
“Interesting detail! Lil stainless steel shelving unit next to each sink in the women bathroom! Very helpful for keys or cell phone while you need wash hands!I think this was there?or maybe other location in Philly ? whatever i pick up so many orders this week so I might mess up location but i will update reviews if i did! ”
“I needed help because of my disability I could not walk up and down the aisles the manager Diane offered to go get the items that I needed. I really appreciate her help and was compelled to write a review. Great job Diane. Thanks again.”
“Had the best experience with Kathleen at front end department. Kind and understanding with information to help us resolve our lawn mower issues. Her co workers on the other hand could use a class in customer service and profession demeanor. Understandably Sunday mornings are not the best shifts, yet Kathleen was able to go above and beyond to make us feel like valued customers. Thank you again!!”
