“Expected to arrive at this Home Depot around 9pm, an hour before they close. I live in Philly, and am about a 20min drive from this location. One detour and two wrong turns later, I arrived 20-30min before they closed. I'd had a very long, and frustrating day, and walked into the store completely frantic and distracted. Wasted 15min looking at tiles, absent all problem solving and decision making skills. Next thing I know, I'm being guided to the other aisle I needed. Found empty packaging for the product I was looking for, had zero f**ks left, when the manager Jason appeared asked if he could help. The store had officially closed, but he grabbed a ladder to get the item down from top stock, and helped me figure out exactly what else I needed in conjunction with the tool. I was *shocked* by how calm, patient, and genuinely kind Jason was; I rarely come across people like him who provide excellent customer service, plus, go beyond what's expected in order to help someone. Jason helped me for what I'm guessing was 20min past closing; he wasn't irritated, and smiled and joked while helping me. He successfully exorcised my crappy mood, and I left with a smile on my face, feeling much calmer than I had for most of my day. More people deserve to know that being their genuine selves, and providing help to someone who needs it--no matter how big or small--made a positive impact on another person's day.”

“Usually everything is good except when I asked for help with getting super mop pads. The guy who was helping kept saying the pads he gave me were correct & I told him they weren't but he insisted since he said he had one. I told him the pads I needed were for the super mop. Long story short I went to customer service & they got me the correct one's I needed.”

“I had an online order that was shipped to my house at first was giving the customer desk associates some difficulty when I went to return some of my order. I had purchased too many baseboard diffusers. I appreciated Gena, Evan, and Pat for helping straighten things out. They kept trying until they were able to help me and my husband out. We are in the middle of a renovation and these small helpful moments means a lot when you are going through something complicated. Pat was also there when Marcie helped me recover a missing tile from another purchases for a pickup order a couple days earlier. These associates I look forward to seeing next time I am in Lowe's.”

“I had a problem with a missing grill mfr shipped it UPS lost it. I called customer service and spoke to Theresa the nicest person you ever want to talk too. She understood my problem and she promised to take of it she said she throughly investigate it. Got back to me an hour later and found out UPS lost it. She reordered the grill for me and put a rush on it and gave me a discount for reordering it. She is the best employee at Home Depot I want to thank her for gold star customer service. Forgot to get his name unfortunately.The tool I was looking was not available according to their inventory. He then told me what other Home Depots had the tool. I thanked him and left.But after I was in my car he came out to the parking lot, found me and said he found one.EXCELLENT SERVICE. THANK YOU.”

“I cannot say enough about how wonderful Home Depot in Berlin, New Jersey is. We just moved to south Jersey and are completely renovating a home. We have needed something from every department in this store. We have only ever been met with a smiling face and affable personality and I wanted to take a moment to thank a few individuals that have made myself or my family feel welcomed and provided extraordinary service in one way or another.* JERRY * from lumber was one of my first interactions at this location and he immediately jumped into conversation with me, making sure I had everything I needed, and really took the time to connect with me right off the bat. These interactions have continued everytime I come into this store, from remembering my name, what project I'm working on, or waving from across the store when he's helping another customer but sees me in the distance. Jerry is a 10/10 employee.* FRANCIS* is my favorite cashier that also shares the same affable personality as Jerry, is so easy to talk to, and makes my husband and I feel so appreciated everytime we interact with him. A fellow military vet, he really connected with our family. He is a genuinely kind soul and your store wouldn't be the same without him.*ROB* Aka Uncle Rob, is what my kids call him, in the paint department. Talk about someone who remembers everything about your last conversation and picks up right where you left off the next time he sees you! It was no wonder my kids latched on to him right away. He is so kind, and is genuinely invested in not only the projects we're completing, asking to see photos, but in my personal goals and aspirations. He's my own personal Home Depot cheerleader as I'm applying to medical school in the next few years! Thanks for the genuine connection Rob!*ETHAN & JOHN* from flooring spent days helping me with an issue on our flooring order and were so kind, patient, and personable. I came into the store one time to check-in and found Ethan on hold trying to find a solution to my issue. The timing was perfect and it shows that even when the customer isn't present, they are actively working on your behalf at the Berlin location!*XIOMARA* is an angel woman in customer service that makes me feel special every time she sees me. Between the sweet "hello, how are you!?", everytime I walk in, even when I'm not paying attention, to her bubbly personality that immediately puts me in a better mood, we LOVE her!!Home Depot, Berlin, you really know how to hire them! Truly the BEST team I've seen in one location in a LONG time. As a military spouse who travels the world and renovates every home she lives in, AND whose favorite store IS Home Depot, I've been to a lot of locations, and I've interacted with a lot of employees.
