“Dropped in for 9:30am weekday class. I followed email prompt on website for drop ins. Owner got back to me immediately and gave me all the information I needed to drop in. Made it very easy.

As for the class and facilities…
TOP NOTCH. Temperature today is supposed to hit 100 plus humidity. They had the garage doors closed and the AC was on! I was extremely pleased to have that courtesy today. The space was huge, open, clean, and all quality equipment to train on.

Coach Jake was very welcoming, as well as the members. I felt right at home in this class. Coach Jake went over the warmups as well as workout instruction with a watchful eye. I have not done SDHP in a long time, his instruction hit all the key points for us.

I very much look forward to an opportunity to drop into CrossFit Cedar Grove again.”

“Dropped in twice during a trip to New York, and as someone who has done many a drop in whilst travelling, I have to say Brazen Athletics is the best Box I have visited.What set it apart were a couple of key points:The people - Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and were happy to provide us information as to where to visit/see during our trip..The coaching: knowledgeable, personable and passionate. Whilst also encouraging members to become the best version of themselves.. Spending time talking about the purpose of the workout and how to get the best out of it was such a nice touch.The box: A decent sized gym with all the equipment you could need.I would 100% recommend, thank you for having us!”

It’s like comparing night and day. Everything is meticulously designed and, dare I say, tight. Forget the notion that a barbell is just a barbell or that a 45-pound plate is merely a 45-pound plate. This place defies those assumptions.As we age, injury prevention becomes paramount. To ensure I wasn’t compromising my squats, bench presses, and deadlifts, I booked a 2-hour technique session with Jason. Worth every penny! My high bar squat was decent, but I craved better posterior chain development through low bar squats. Jason’s personalized tweaks transformed my form from “okay” to rock-solid.Now, let’s talk bench press. It’s always been my Achilles’ heel, but Jason—a bench press monster—guided me through drills that revolutionized my approach. After just 30 minutes, I was lifting more efficiently, engaging additional stabilizing muscles, and driving the bar with newfound confidence.Surprisingly, my deadlift form needed the most work. Despite countless YouTube tutorials, nothing compared to hands-on coaching. Jason helped me recruit the right muscles, optimize leverages, and—most importantly—lift heavier weights safely.My only regret? Not seeking this guidance sooner. I eagerly await the day when I can join this gym and take my training to the next level.”

“I joined 150Bay about 4 years or so ago. I had spent a couple of years at another gym in NYC but was looking for something closer to Jersey City. Upon researching options I noticed a relatively new gym that was led by André Crews. I was instantly impressed by what I saw. Being apart of the crossfit/HIIT world for quite some time I knew how important it was to have a Coach that not only wanted to push you to be the best you could be.In joining 150Bay, I not only had an amazing coach in Andre but also in the team he built over my 4 years. They push you to be your best self while also making sure you have great form and parallel effective life habits (Nutrition Classes, Mobility classes, etc...)Along with that the space they have is top notch in terms of a city box. Over my time there, I saw them not only upgrade their space but also invest heavily in top notch equipment that allows classes to participate in almost all crossfit movements.Lastly, I was extremely impressed with the community that Andre and his team built over those 4 years. They actively run community events/parties both in the gym as well at various locations (Bars, Outside event venues, etc...)No matter what stage of crossfit/HIIT training you are at I highly recommend joining 150Bay. You will be joining not only an amazing gym with top notch coaches but also a welcoming community.”

“This place is a 5 simply because it’s the only gym in the area with a belt squat (I’ve looked) - if you’ve used one, you get it. It’s very clean, plenty of equipment curated by someone who gets it. (Compared to a big chain (PF style) - parking is easy, location is great right on BF. Never gets too busy. Make sure you check out their opening hours , only issue is early weekend close”
