ShopRite of Freehold is a well-known supermarket chain, operating over 270 stores across the northeastern United States. Each ShopRite store has its own unique personality, reflecting the local community it serves. The Freehold location, while described as old and small, is generally considered an "okay" ShopRite, with good prices and a nice variety of products, including a decent selection of sushi. The store is praised for its cleanliness and friendly staff, who were commended for their excellent handling of a recent power outage, ensuring food safety and customer security. However, the layout and crowded aisles on weekdays have been noted as drawbacks by some customers. Overall, ShopRite of Freehold is a reliable option for local residents, offering a solid shopping experience with the chain's own exclusive brands and quality products.
Checkout lines are sometimes ridiculously long! Was a little harsh on my last post. They have some good employees.

Definitely needs to be renovated as it’s very old and small. Other than that it’s an ok ShopRite but I don’t love the layout of the store. There’s other ShopRites and stores around that I’d go to over this.

Had a really great experience here. Went in to grab essentials after a recent storm. Though some of the power was out, the staff was doing an excellent job keeping the customers safe while shopping. They were doing a thorough deep clean of any of the refrigerated items and ensuring food safety and quality.
