1729 Lincoln Hwy, EdisonI visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.
I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.
While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.

252 Plainfield Ave, EdisonIt's been awhile since I have been to Cafe Zio, the last time I went, a few things have changed, I hope they continue being the same. The atmosphere is still cozy and welcoming, perfect for hanging out with friends or just enjoying a drink. Their boba is still one of the highlights -- chewy, fresh, and paired with drinks that have just the right amount of sweetness. The flavors are smooth and refreshing, making it an easy go-to spot when I'm craving bubble tea. I will be honest though, I miss the owners being in the Edison space. It gave a very home cafe vibe, unused to go so often that they knew my drink. It was an awesome and attentive service. I haven't went in awhile now, and they have new staff members. I'll definitely go again some day when I crave something sugary and boba!

I asked about seafood dish, Nino suggested the combo and affirmed that I would like it. Guess what: I loved it and I also loved the half veggies half plain pizza. The crust was exactly the way I like it and it was cooked evenly. The team was very friendly which makes the place very pleasant. Excellent job. Thank you Nino ??

1711 Lincoln Hwy, EdisonI think I found my favorite Asian seafood spot in the area. I am absolutely in love with their crab roe specialty ! You have the choice of with white rice or noodles. I chose rice with the crab roe and later one decided to get an order to go with the noodles. The crab roe is to die for ! So much flavorful and deliciousness. Another order is the steamed Halibut which was also wonderful to the taste buds. The service from the kind lady was wonderful and fast paced. We didn’t have to wait long for the orders to come. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the plaza and the first door. The parking is hard around that area but I went on thanksgiving day so it wasn’t so busy. My favorite part is the restaurant is dog friendly !!!! I cannot wait to try other items on the menu and bring my pup. This place is a must try with so much variety off their menu.
