“Their meat seems to be very high quality. We bought 2 lbs of matambre which we call sobrebarriga. It came out perfectly tender and delicious in a dish called sobrebarriga en salsa criolla. They were very helpful in the process taking time to explain what cuts were good for whatever our needs.”

“Located in the basement of Chelsea Market.Treat yourself to a lobster roll at Lobster Place on the first floor.(I couldn't find it at first)I went and ate it for the second time.The patty is extremely thick and substantial, and when you take a bite of medium-well, the juice flows out.Add jalapenosAdd CheeseI think there was an additional charge of about $3 for the two together.Jalapenos must be added.They grind it and put it on top and it tastes great!!!It's cheaper than a lobster roll, has a lot of quantity, and tastes good, so if you spend that money, I highly recommend eating this instead.(I’m not sure what cucumber pickle tastes like)”

“I live up the street from this wonderful small corner store. The butcher's in the back are very friendly and helpful. The fish market has the freshest and such a great variety. Lastly, the girls behind the the counter are always friendly , ready to help you with anything. My only complaint is that they close at 1:30pm on Sundays.”

“I was greeted upon entry there were other people that appeared to be regulars. I was asked if I needed help but it was first time so I said I had no decided on everything yet. They gave me time and a gentleman helped I told him I didn't quite need the plans posted but wanted to come up with my own. “Old-school Italian butcher & deli! They make their own sausage & fresh mozzarella! Grabbed lunch - ordered The Naples sandwich: Chicken cutlet, imported prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was awesome (this usually makes or breaks a great sandwich). Everything was fresh, clean, and delicious. Owner & his wife were super friendly. Their stuffed breads were cut in half; they were stuffed to the max. I can't wait to return & try other things here! Purchased some fresh mozzarella & some treat for home too.”

“Some of best fresh perogies around, tender pasta and creamy potatoe filling. Wait for kielbasa and deli is long because everything is sliced on the spot, but worth the time. The locals / staff all order in polish which can be daunting but english translation below each label. It also helps that the checkout employees speak English. While waiting, don't forget the chocolate selection on the side.”
“If you're polish you will find everything you may need here - just like back home. Including some cosmetics, magazines and medicines. Selection is huge for a pretty small place. Meats, cheeses and cold cuts are top quality. They also have hot food which is way better than in most Polish restaurants in the area. Selection includes soups and desserts. Perfect place to get your polish supplies or to experience Polish homemade food.”
“I have brought meat from this location many times over the passed 2yrs and havent had any issues at all from the chicken, steaks and lamb. The customer service is great nothing more i could ask for from a halal butcher shop, it is way better here than the location i used to go to their meat was questionable to me but i havent had the feeling here..”

“I stopped here on my way home to MD out of curiosity. The shop is mentioned in a CJ BOX novel. It's just a short distance from I95. Excellent and friendly service in a clean, well organized store. I purchased 4 varieties of sausage. My husband, a chef, said, "That guy knows what he is doing. The Brazilian chicken sausage is the best I have ever had." I will visit again the next time my travels take me through Newark.”

“Have only purchased from Shoprite .Usually always stuffed shells. Very good!My only complaint are with the cooking instructions. As one reviewer said cover on or cover off, and I always have to cook it between 15-30 minutes longer than instructed.I have gotten this product with expired expiration date on it.”
