“Nice little market for a small shop. Meats are nice quality at low prices. Just started making breakfast sandwiches and keeping them up front my cash registers. All the cashiers are nice but Rory really stands out. Just efficient but a genuine person. I do enjoy that there’s a select few dairy free brands in store as well. Very accessible!”

“From Nova Scotia, looking for some fresh produce to snack on and prepare while I'm here. Googled fresh produce Kittery and got the Golden Harvest, checked out the reviews , and I was there! Beautiful salad bar, salad for lunch? Beautiful, apples, clementines, green beans and broccoli for snacking. Great service and very polite attentive staff.I will be stopping by annually when I roll through!. Thank you.”
“First off let me say that I appreciate my shopping experiences at both of the locations in the Portsmouth area. Market Baskets have a wide variety of goods and at good prices, that being said I had a rather bad experience with the butchery dept and a butcher at the Lafayette store location.Normally I shop at the Newington store , but as I go to the gym nearby I came to the Lafayette branch to shop.At the other store I can get liver, beef heart, chicken gizzards and kidneys for my dog as a treat in her meals and to maintain her health and a good coat. I did not find any at this location and thought maybe I just couldn’t see the trees for the forest. I rang for a butcher and a man with short grey hair, about 5’8” tall with a square frame came out. Unfortunately I did not get his name off his tag.I asked him if he had heart, and he clipped “Nope” , then I asked about gizzards, “ Nope “, then I guess I made the pho paw of asking as the other store had these if he was just out at the moment. He gave me a smirk and said we never carry those. I joked that my dog was out of luck then, to which he replied testily, “ Aisle 11” I wasn’t sure what he meant and I said excuse me? “ You want dog food, that’s where it is. “ he said in a Im done with you tone of voice. After lifting his hand and pointing me away. I was dismissed. And he turned around and went back to his kitchen.If I wanted kibble I know where it is, I certainly DID NOT NEED THE ATTITUDE! I will not come back to this store again because of this.I doubt these reviews are ever read, but if they are Market Basket needs this man to take a class in servicing a customer politely. I’ll be going to the Newington store only now. Guess it’s still a win win for Market Basket though.”

“This little deli located inside a surf shop is such a great and convenient walk up food & coffee option when we're at Jenness beach. They have great smoothies, lots of ice coffee flavor options (decent coffee), bagels, paninis, toasts and more. The quality of ingredients are pleasantly fresh and surprisingly veg forward. The staff behind the counter are always friendly and happy while they crank out order after order.”

“I love this Seabrook Market Basket. It's in the old Seabrook Plaza, the one with an abandoned Ames Department Store. I'm from Haverhill and I make sure to hit this Market Basket every couple of weeks. Don't confuse this Market Basket with the supersized one, also in Seabrook. It's the smaller one. It's a lot less crowded with plenty of great parking. Obviously you're not going to have the selection of the Super Size Market Baskets, but it's worth the trade off. Great staff! No long Waits! It's a Hidden Gem!”
“Small, but it has most of the things I need. Our closest grocery store in a town with no supermarket. Military ID required. Some prices are better than off base and others are higher or are the same. Prices fluctuate.”

“Shout out to courteous and responsive gas attendant Levi for preventing risk of an explosion from static charge. A man was filling gas tanks in his truck instead of on the ground, but the attendant's view was obscured. Once notified Levi went right over to help the man fill the tanks on the ground were its safe. Thanks Levi!”

“I think Shaws has changed lately and gotten much better! Also, if you shop carefully, you can pick up great bargains! By shopping the ads this week, I spent $95 but saved $88 with in store coupons!! My biggest savings was a 6 lb rib roast that started out at $15.99/lb, and I bought it for $5.97/lb.... saving over $60 on my roast!! And the butcher cut it in half for me for 2 meals!! Shop with digital coupons, and you'll get some great savings here!!”
