2200 Woodbury Ave, Newington“I went to this Walmart location on my lunch, hoping to get my son's two watch batteries replaced. No one was at the jewelry counter, but I spied someone close by and asker her for help. Super nice! I believe I heard another associate call her Michelle...but her nametag read "Coach." While she was taking apart the first watch, another associate came by to assist...this store seems to have employees with great rapport and friendly staff. They seem to be doing something right here! I got back from lunch on-time, got a new battery, and service with a smile. You can't beat that! Thank you!”
“Great store with good prices and selection. My only complaint about every Trader Joe's is that they move products around the store all the time and I can't find what I m looking for. It's pretty infuriating.”
“It's a small place but don't let that fool you. They pack it to the gills with Asian ingredients that I can't find anywhere else. Pricing is fantastic and the staff has always been very helpful when I'm looking for something.”
“I just moved to the area and we needed some things from Dollar Tree and we see this little gem. We decided to stop and it was the best decision. Great prices on fresh produce, meats, and so much more. In addition, the owner was there and treated my family and I like he had known us forever. Do yourself a favor and stop in.”
“This store is fantastic! The first time we were there was last Monday.. I walked in and it smelled like my wife's kitchen. We had the home made Linguini Tuesday night. Excellent! We just had the Marinara sauce over Spaghetti Squash. Delicious. We purchased 4 different pastas. We told the 2 nice women that worked there that it was our first time there. One said for that, take a container of Marinara for free. The different home cooked meals look great our go to this summer when we come up that way for beach time. Breads and everything else I saw I would get on our next trips to Kittery on way to see family and day trips. A must go to for anyone that's a Foodie. Very easy to find on main road. Thank you ladies. We will see you again.”

828 Central Ave, Dover“I love Aldi. The pricing is amazing. They always have interesting products to choose from. Coffee and cheese are two things we don't leave without. Seasonal products also.”
“I have been coming here for a bit of time now and it is by far one of my favorite places to buy products from:) the owners and employees are all so kind and helpful, and you can tell they care so much about their customers and the value they add to the community. During the weekdays, there is homemade, organic soups available up front and they are some of the best and most nourishing soups I’ve ever had! I look forward to trying all of the new creations she makes every week:) if you’re in need of some lunch or dinner I highly recommend stopping in to grab some soup…you won’t regret it! Can’t say enough good things about this place and so so thankful to have them be part of our community in such an amazing way☺️”
“I’ve been shopping at Golden Harvest for years and they have stayed tried and true to their excellent produce! They also have nice wines and refrigerated foods as well as pastas and more…the open salad bar is amazing too!”
“Great prices, great selection, and friendly service more than make up for the somewhat outdated interior. A local legend with a motion picture movie, book, and song celebrating the historic labor action in 2014 by thousands of employees, customers, and supporting businesses.
Update 9/22: from what I can tell, MB has not raised its prices as much as supermarkets in western Massachusetts. I shop there as well, and current inflation related price increases seem much more significant compared to Market Basket. They still live up to their motto "more for your dollar".”

1801 Woodbury Ave, Portsmouth“Shout out to courteous and responsive gas attendant Levi for preventing risk of an explosion from static charge. A man was filling gas tanks in his truck instead of on the ground, but the attendant's view was obscured. Once notified Levi went right over to help the man fill the tanks on the ground were its safe. Thanks Levi!”
8AM - 10PM
125 Cabot St, Portsmouth“They have a great selection of Chardonnay. It’s so lovely that they are open until 11:30… saves the day so often .And of course very convenient. Always kind service . The best kind of corner store.”
6:30AM - 11PM
148 State Street, Portsmouth“Cute family owned store with great selection of groceries and household necessities. It is conveniently located downtown, so you don't have to get in the car. Friendly and helpful staff who answer the phone!”
“I visited 2 Market Basket stores yesterday in search of the Spinach & Feta calzone from the grab & go section. Neither store had it and acted like they didn't know what I was talking about.
Other than the disappointment about the calzone, both stores were clean and organized and all of the associates were friendly.”
“Love this place and all they have to offer. @BoarsHead , prepared meals both fresh and frozen, all kinds of fresh veggies and sweets too and do you need a gift or maybe to make a gift basket this place is a go to.”
“What can I say market basket already says it all "More for your dollar" I've been shopping here since I was a child this is the store my mom taught me how to grocery shop at and I love market basket. It has always been my choice for groceries and shopping and always will be they care about the everyday consumer. Even though I do shop elsewhere at times, Market Basket will always be my true go-to store. Let us not forget that one year when all who shopped here got 4% off of all our groceries which this store showed appreciation for the hard times they went through but came out the other side just to stay true to the consumer. Thank you, Market Basket. I will forever stay Market Basket strong till the doors close for good, and hopefully, that day doesn't come anytime soon.”
8AM - 1AM
7 Madbury Rd, Durham“It’s a nice placeIt’s nice and bigger convenient store in Durham town ?carry so many different kind snacks and drinks A lot of kind protein bars now has big selection of wine ice creamAnd all kind disposable Smoke”
“Fun, helpful people. I rarely shop anywhere else for my household needs. It would be nice if they carried more Sutton farms chocolate almonds cuz I love 'em !”
7AM - 9PM
833 Central Ave, Dover“Clean, stocked, and reasonably priced. Generally, the checkout lines are staffed with efficient and helpful employees. Not always, but most often. The quality of their produce is better than Walmart, Shaws, and definitely Aldis. The deli section is about the same, and their unique store chips are irresistible. The only items I have found so far that aren't as great are their cooked, ready-made rotisserie, wings, and fried chicken. Walmart's versions are better.
As for other products available, they're boxed, bagged, packaged, and the same no matter which grocery store you buy them from. I mean, a box of Cap'n crunch is a box of Cap'n crunch the world round.”
7AM - 9:30PM
157 Portsmouth Ave, Stratham“Really nice people, fair prices, great selection of wine and beer, fresh Green Mountain coffee and a variety of Moe's subs to grab for a quick lunch on the go. Cean and welcoming with plenty of parking!”
“What a wonderful little shop full of international foods and candies! They have everything from cereals, drinks, crisps, beans, and holiday appropriate candies. Decent prices considering the import fees that I'm sure are crazy expensive! The lady working, I'm assuming she was the owner but not sure, was super kind and informative. We'll definitely be back!”
7AM - 7PM
2454 Lafayette Rd, Portsmouth“They have an understaffed deli. They also don't carry many Italian meats. Kind of a bummer. The staples are expensive here so I count on them having the specialties.”
7AM - 9PM
7 Mill Rd, Durham“I am quite happy with the bakery here and use them to cater many events, the staff in the bakery are always friendly and help me figure out what I need no matter the size of what I am hosting. I find the veggies to be miss quite often in the produce section, but I do like the assortment of ethnic food choices and am always able to find something new to try at home. They do usually have a great ice cream selection.”
“Small, but it has most of the things I need. Our closest grocery store in a town with no supermarket. Military ID required. Some prices are better than off base and others are higher or are the same. Prices fluctuate.”
“So many varieties to choose from. Healthy options. So happy to have found this store. The manager is exceptionally helpful in answering my questions about how to cook items, or giving an indication of flavors.Be it fresh, frozen or on the shelf for dry goods, a person will find whatever they are seeking. If they do not carry a specific item, the owner will suggest where you might find it.WOW, how impressive is that?_”
6AM - 10PM
100 Shaw's Ln, Stratham“I like shopping at Shaw's they can be pricey but I clip coupons in my phone and save an average of 25+ everytime and they have a great meat selection! I suggest shopping anyday but Sun! I've been shopping here for 20 years”
7AM - 10PM
141 Portsmouth Ave, Exeter“Usually found what I needed. I mostly rate supermarkets based on the produce section, and this site did pretty well. I’m used to a wider diversity of fresh fruits and veggies, but it gets the job done. I liked all the labels helping to identify local items and sales. I enjoyed the walnut baklava here too. The original one I used to buy disappeared, but enjoyed the pre-packaged 3-pack options. Staff were friendly and helpful.”
“Awesome little market with nice staff and a great selection of fresh food, grab and go items such as pastries sandwiches or wraps. It’s a mini grocery that has a butcher counter and other items worth a visit. Great whoopies too ;)”
7AM - 9PM
30 Grapevine Dr, Dover“Great place for kids and dogs with boat launch facilities. Restrooms are not available in the winter but portable potties are available most of the rest of the year. Nestled in a beautiful scenic waterfront area just below where confluence of the Cocheco and Salmon Rivers join the Piscataqua “River”. Piscataqua is tidal for most of its length which makes it pretty much an estuary. Not easy to find. Needs permanent restrooms.”
“No frills shopping. Good deals. Produce is usually good and fresh. Nice meat and fish options. If you're looking for a variety of brands and flavors of processed food/HBA, it is limited. The house brands are of great quality.”
