“I can’t begin to recommend Pepperell Vet Hospital enough. I have two cats and an 80-lb labradoodle, all of which have been under their care for years now. Even though I moved over an hour away, I still make the drive because I don’t trust them with anyone else!!
The vets are kind, caring, and take the time to listen and respond to each concern. The demeanor of the staff puts both my animals and myself at ease. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, and it’s obvious that these vets are not in it for the profit - they do this because they genuinely care about their patients.
My first cat became very sick a couple years ago and I realized the time had come to let him cross the rainbow bridge. I took him to Pepperell Vet and when I walked in, they were prepared for our arrival - the waiting room was quiet and had a small candle lit to indicate someone was saying goodbye. They let me spend as much time as I needed with him after the drugs had been administered. What really struck me is that a few weeks later, I received a letter in the mail with my cat’s paw prints pressed in ink, which I was not expecting but am SO so glad that I have his prints.
Overall, this is where you should take your pets, no matter how far away you live. They will take excellent care of your furry family before, during, and after each visit.”

“I was able to check in at my scheduled appointment time. The receptionist and front office staff were ALL very friendly to myself and my dog. Short wait and was escorted in to meet with the Vet. The facility was clean and free from odor. My Veterinarian is Dr. Julie Haller who is ALWAYS thorough, kind and untrusted. She reviewed old records, asked about updates and any concerns. Dr.Haller was caring and thoughtful. I have been a customer of Bulger Animal Hospital for twenty years and have never been disappointed. I refer the business to friends and family. My only concern is cost which can be higher than other veterinary practices.”

“AAH does an amazing job providing veterinary services to a local feline rescue organization called Kitty Angels. I'm just starting to get involved with Kitty Angels as a volunteer, to help them shuttle cats back-and-forth to and from the vet.
They take really good care of the cats that are coming in to KA, often times with diseases or injuries, and sometimes near starvation. They nurse them back to health, and turn them over to a Kitty Angels foster parent, complete with records, all of their shots, medications, and instructions for follow up care.
My wife and I have adopted at least three of our cats from Kitty Angels, all of which had challenges earlier in their lives which had been overcome with the help of AAH, and of course KA.
In addition to the work they do with Kitty Angels, AAH also provides services to pet owners, including exotics.

“Best Friends Veterinary Hospital is absolutely amazing! They are very reasonably priced, and I’ve never had an issue getting an appointment within a very reasonable amount of time, including when my dog needed to be scheduled for surgery. The entire process was smooth, timely, and reassuring from start to finish.
When my fur baby had surgery, I was a complete nervous wreck, and the staff was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating. They took the time to answer all of my questions, put my mind at ease, and made sure both my dog and I felt cared for. ?? “Years ago, we moved to the area & before we could get into our new vet's clinic our Oakley developed kennel cough. No one could see him on short notice without him being a patient, but Banfield did! We have since used our local vet clinic for the past 4 years, but their prices have been steadily increasing. Oakley needed a dental cleaning & a few bad teeth addressed. Our old vet quoted us over $3,000! I called a dozen vets in a 45 min radius looking for a second opinion. A few couldn't give quotes over the phone without seeing him, understandably so. Banfield was so kind! They spent easily over 15 minutes on the line with me & gave me ballpark estimates as well as told me about their wellness plan that includes yearly dentals! She got me on the schedule for a consult within a week. We hadn't done a dental cleaning up until now because of how expensive they are. We added up our regular yearly costs at our old vet clinic and compared them to the active care plus plan and it was a no brainer to switch. Every one from the receptionists to the vet techs were so kind and compassionate. He had his dental setup within a week! We paid a fraction of the cost our old vet would have charged us without compromising care. They assured me he would be monitored the same as a human going under anesthesia and had not one but two techs assisting the doctor. Dr. Ridel treated him as if he was one of her own. She called me 3x the day of (before, during, and after surgery) to update me how he was doing, explain her findings & recommendations every step of they way. She kept me in the driver's seat for decision making and was transparent with costs and risks/benefits for every intervention. I could not have asked for a better experience! We are switching our other pup over to the OWP & we have already recommended them to several peers as well. Thank you for providing such passionate excellent care at an affordable price!”
