“The Mattress Depot has a large selection on display. Al the owner, is helpful finding exactly what your looking for in a mattress. I traveled up from Middleboro and it was worth the trip. I picked out a mattress and it was fed-ex to my home a few days later.
I give this business 5 stars but it deserves 10 plus.

“John Doyle, Jeff Bell, and Hollie were extremely helpful with the purchase of our mattress. We bought one originally that was too firm, they were more than accommodating and helpful when finding a new one. The store offered a quick turnaround to get the new mattress. You can buy a mattress easily online but won’t get this type of customer service!”

“This place is a gem I gave it an extra star for the Tuesday lady that was working on Wednesday ;) June 26, 2024 .So sorry I forgot her name . She was so informative and knowledgeable for all the sea questions we had non related to the shop lol she was better than a tour guide . Also a friend costumer walked in and gave us recommendations for supper at the local starboard galley which was s’efforça le and totally fresh! Chowder was like my grandma from NB yum. Back to the shop.. lol the prices are really reasonable with a mixture of local crafts/vendors and antiques. Sorry about long review but I loved it”
“I would highly recommend Jackson Fireplace in Hampton, NH. From the first time walking into the store and the friendly greeting from Alison, to the detailed explanation of how my small, funky shaped fireplace would be fitted with the gas insert to their accommodating my schedule which clearly was not convenient to them. This has been the best customer service experience I have ever had. Don’t bother going to anyone else!”

“We just got our swingset! It took about 4 1/2 weeks after ordering and was set up today. Shawn, the installer was very nice and professional. He arrived on time and confirmed with me the night before he was to arrive. Spencer ( I believe the owner) was wonderful:) he called me several times this week to confirm that our swingset was in and available for install. He even called to make sure the installer had touched base with me, which I really appreciated. He was very kind and I could tell he valued our business and cared that we were happy. Linda at the store was so sweet and so friendly. She really helped us pick the perfect swing set and I found the whole experience pretty smooth. The quality of the swing set is great! It’s beautiful and I highly recommend adding the kitchen feature. The pots and pans all make sounds and food comes with it to! Thanks guys for a great experience.”

A couple of weeks ago, I had gone into this Target location because I was having trouble with my receipt being recognised by the Target app/website since the receipt hadn't printed properly from my trip prior. After speaking to multiple online associates, I had no choice but to go back to the store in person to try to sort the problem out. The first employee I spoke to did not try to remedy the situation at all; she didn't bother to even try. I returned later the same day and spoke to Tre who went out of his way to help resolve the situation for me. His effort was very much appreciated (especially after the discouraging and lacklustre performance of his colleague). Thank you, Tre! Aside from that, this Target is very well stocked and satisfying to shop in. I have been able to purchase items here that I have never seen in any other Target location before. As a frequent Target customer, this location gets a thumbs up from me!”

“We purchased a Real Fyre gas fireplace and log set from Alternative Energy after spending time in their showroom viewing videos of various options. Their staff was knowledgeable and professional. We were very pleased with our purchase.
Alternative also sent two technicians to our home for the installation, one of whom had guided us through the original purchase. Here too they were thoughtful and thoroughly professional.
This was good old fashioned sales and service that was very much appreciated.”
“My husband and I woke up today with the decision that we are going to buy a new Weber grill and be prepared for next summer early!He had already gone to Ace hardware where although they were extremely nice, they unfortunately don’t take away your old grill (buzz kill).He had been to Lowe’s and Home Depot and the experience was pleasant but again they couldn’t accommodate the delivery set up and removal of the old grill.I suggested we search in the Rye and Hampton area for another place that carries Weber grills, and he was not too keen on it saying we will not find one we will just have to order it at Home Depot and figure out how to magically make the other one go away!For the heck of it I called the pool and barbecue grill store in Hampton called Bemister's.The gentleman that answered the phone was extremely knowledgeable and said not only did they have the best prices on Weber grills but that the quality was different than the ones that they sell in the box stores which really surprised us.He went on to say that they have their own service that drops them off and sets them up but also will take away our old grill at a very reasonable price.We went down there to find an extremely gracious and knowledgeable salesperson who happens to be fourth generation in the company.By the time we left, not only were we thrilled that we made that call, but we are getting it delivered tomorrow which is a Sunday!!!I guess that’s what the old fashion “mom-and-pop” businesses do!What a change in experiences from other places and refreshing to see the classic old fashion “we care about the client” attitude still exists.They are very dog friendly, hands-on, and accommodating.6 stars!”
“We had a large space above our garage turned into a beautiful guest suite - Colleen did our space planning and helped us pick out some quality furniture pieces. Colleen’s design pizazz and space planning made our suite amazing. She worked extra hard with the builder to convince him to create an entrance to our space in the place I wanted vs the easier entrance point. She went above and beyond to make us happy with the finished project. She know everything from required zoning, and rules about placement of stairs and walls and room specifications! We have used our guest space for family and friends and are thrilled with how it turned out. We will not hesitate to work with Colleen in the future! Audrey and Phil Dean (Exeter, New Hampshire)”

“A hidden gem in downtown Hampton in Depot Square near the town gazebo, Depot Cafe and Woof Pet Supply. Furniture and decorative pieces are either custom made or refurbished with an upscale design. They also will give quotes to bring an antique or old worn piece back to life .”
“I needed help with my order that got destroyed by the carrier for an online-order. Re-shipped by the carrier. However the majority of items were broken or not in the carrier re-taped box. Without hesitation the manager at the Service desk helped me resolve the situation. The replaced items selected were immediately available with the prices I paid for them. Very happy.”
