“Well we decided to tie the knot at Emerald Bay Lake Tahoe, 9 months ago. I immediately searched the internet for wedding coordinators in the area. I came across High Mountain Weddings at Lake Tahoe. I was impressed with the reviews and high ratings. So, I proceeded to contact this business. I was delighted and relieved to know that our date was available. So, we booked our date. The process was so easy, and the fact that we are from Tx and we were getting married at Lake Tahoe, Ca. would be a challenge to coordinate. That was no problem with High Mountain Weddings, they handled everything! I called with a couple of questions and had answered all the questions they had for me and only received phone calls from the businesses that needed to arrange dates to meet up, the closer we came to the date. This destination wedding was simple, beautiful, breathtaking and stress free…Even the ride in the limo was superb, no worries with driving and parking. “Great place to stay when skiing. Very short walk to the gondola. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again - it is an older property but well-maintained. Location is surrounded by significantly newer (and more expensive) lodging. Lots of restaurant choices within walking distance.”
“I was honestly not expecting much but this place blew away my expectations. Linda was the nicest manager ever and even answered my calls when we got lost at 2am (we drove 7 hours from Los Angeles.) The rooms were so cozy and felt like home. Our dog had so much fun and had tons of space to run around. It’s so close to everything as well and all the beaches. Would definitely stay here again!”
“The shuttle bus is right outside. Great for access to the slopes for skiing. The rooms are quiet, very clean, warm, cosy, comfortable and dry. Small fireplace, good storage and cute homey details. Simple kitchenette (coffee, tea, cups etc provided). The room was cleaned and there were fresh towels every day. Perfect stay for a weekend ski trip. I'll be staying again.”

“We had our Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club golf tournament at the LTGC in September and it was a blast! Everyone at the club, especially Alex McKeen and Kevin Sommerfeld, made our event extra special. They were pros and really knew how to make the event run smoothly and ensure everyone had a memorable time. We would definitely encourage others to have their event, wedding, club gathering, or golf tournament at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course!”
“More of a Mo-Mo than a Ho-Ho, knowhatimsayin? Staff fetch five stars, specially for dealing with the knuckleheads that stay here. No elevator for 2nd / 3rd floor rooms in some of the buildings, take note people who aren’t ready to pack luggage up stairs.”
