When I walked in, they were blaring Van Halen, the game was on TV, and there was a dude with a righteous shiner and an ankle monitor sitting at the bar. Five stars all the way. “I have lived in Sparks since '07. I rarely take the time to write a review for anyone. This, I think, is a good reason to write one. On February 3, 2022, my girl and I were headed home and decided to stop at S Mart to grab a couple of things. As we pulled up, the 'OPEN' sign was being turned off. It was just after 10pm and they close at 10pm. We were kind of bummed but sat in front of the store debating where to go instead. Right as I said, "Well you know he isn't going to let us in there." The guy that was closing and locking up, waved his hand in a motion letting us know to come in. He surprised the hell out of me. He could easily have left and not said a word. Instead he had the courtesy to allow us to come in and purchase what we needed. I still can't stop being amazed at this. We live in a time where people rarely go out of their way for strangers and I appreciate his time and kindness. I had never had a bad experience at this store anyway, but that was far from what I expected. On another occasion a few years ago, I needed to use Western Union and the owner was there. He took care of me and told me if I ever was in need of using Western Union in the future. He said that if he was not at the store to have his employee call him and he would come to the store right away to take care of me. Nice guy who obviously hire nice people to work for him. The store is in the parking lot at Los Altos and Vista.”

“I am a frequent customer here, and the old bald white cashier they just hired wouldn't sell me the pack of American spirit cigarettes I always get there. I am well known by the owner there. I went and spoke to the owner about 15 minutes later and the cashier was set straight real quick! Im very grateful”

“Best customer service EVER! Raley’s has the best produce and meat in the area so we prefer to get those items here. We had an issue using our coupon on Sunday and Chaney was so helpful. He helped us remedy the situation today and I have never had such a great experience getting help with something like this at a store. Quick to respond, easy to talk with, friendly and his employees seem to like him as well!”
