“Friendly service and prompt delivery are only 2 of the reasons for going to this pharmacy. They even answer the phone, no series of recorded questions! I started going to this pharmacy after going to all the other chains that are inefficient and slow. I'm a home health worker and make many of my patients happy that they can have their meds delivered for free. Valley Pharmacy is dependable, and professional, and makes their customers feel welcome.”

“I do not usually come here as they typically carry the EXACT same stuff as the Reno location. Whereas the Carson City location not only has different products but also different sales. Quality/Quantity - Got one of each size of the discounted snow shoes! Actually I bought them all. Last time I looked, I only had two feet??? I got them for all my guests when they visit. If you are following, you know I am on this exercise kick! This has been on my list and to get it for $10 each! Normally they are around $80 each. I was so happy. Quite a few products that I believe the Reno location does not have, see pictures. Oh, and their gas was 1 cent cheaper than Reno's Costco. Atmosphere - Consistent except for the above. Today was also a generous sample day, I almost skipped dinner after shopping here. Actually, I gave my wife half my entree because I left here so full. Service - 5 stars. Demo sample team was good. The employees were friendly. Especially the two that I made small talk with showing them the snow shoes I was buying. Price - Great prices today! But as usual we overspent... When we find these sales, we buy it all whether we need them or not. I did not even look at all the stuff my wife bought because all I could think about was my future hikes. :) With my $10 snow shoes, LOL. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 2006. Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club. Now you are the 5th largest retailer in the world and #10 on the Fortune 500. 804 warehouses worldwide, with 558 in the US. 1980 IPO. 1993 Price Club and Costco merger. 1997 Rebrand all locations to Costco. 2020 105.5 million members.”

“Thank you Costco Pharmacy for being so loyal since day one you opened! I have always filled our prescriptions here and have not ever had a problem. Last night I was running errands all around Sparks and realized I had forgotten to pick up my medications. Needless to say I showed up 2 minutes before close! So sorry pharmacy staff but thank you so so much for not turning me away and being so nice. This was one of the fastest cheapest Costco run ever lol! I didn't walk out with $500-$700 of groceries and stuff I don't need!”

“It's a true neighborhood grocery store. If you are looking for a super-market vibe and selection, you won't find it here. But, it's jammed packed with a lot of things you won't find anywhere else. They cater to the customers that they have and their community. It's my go to and I appreciate the people who know what customer service means.”

“I shopped at the North Valley Raley's today and had some difficulty getting my Something Extra reward price. The problem was the lack of the Raley's app on my phone. A part-time employee named Kendra assisted me. She was courteous, knowledgeable, and skilled. She made me feel that I was the most important Raley's customer. She made sure the app was installed properly and I was able to complete my transaction. THANK YOU”

“Decent grocery experience. Their fresh baked bread is pretty fantastic and the deli cases with unique cheeses is the best. Good deals on some items today. @NevadaDairyCommission however price fixes and Smiths was unable to honor a sale on butter. Shame on Nevada government.”

“Visiting the Spanish Springs Area on this day! Although the Walgreen's gets a 5 star rating, Google Maps which led us out here, gets a "3" as it's final approach is poorly illustrated! Walgreens sits right on the North-East Corner at the first intersection & light on Los Altos! X marks the Spot, the Store is right on the corner. Upon entering my first impression was noticing how clean & well maintained the rows of consumer items were! Signs on the upper walls could be seen from the front of the store which ID'd each department. Nice. There were two customers ahead of me in line. In less than 5 minutes I was waited on. The enployees were casual yet efficient & friendly. I noticed at least 3 cars go thru the drive through window! I was able to snap 3 or 4 photos which are attached for all to view. Have a Grateful Day at the Los Altos Walgreens!!?”

“Kind staff, beautiful spot. Looks like a boutique gift shop! Worth the finagling of the parking garage, and 10x better treatment than any other pharmacy I’ve been to in town. Today, a system was down for verification, and they saved a gentleman from going down a grumpy rabbit hole—he left with a smile. Great service!”

“We've made a game of accruing "fuel points" at Smith's (at the store, via digital coupons, shopping on extra points days) so that we can get $1-off per gallon of gas. We save lots!”

“Dr. Jenae Christensen is a breath of fresh air. After meeting with her for a doctors note for work, I instantly knew she was going to be my PCP. She is kind, professional, and really listens to you. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great physician !!”

“The general clinic gets a good rating. I've visited a couple of times and the staff have been pleasant and helpful. However there are no *mental* health specialists available. Fortunately, there are *behavioral health* specialists available, but I have learned that the behavioral lens can interfere with effective treatment of non-behavioral issues. Since I am struggling with the impacts of my mental health diagnoses (not my behavioral health) and I didn't understand the difference, my attempts to receive mental health assistance actually worsened my mental health for a bit.As far as talk therapy goes, the first therapist I saw lied to me during the session (a highly triggering experience for me), then, at the end of the session, told me that he wouldn't see me until I was medicated. I then saw a medication based therapist who refused to prescribe medications that have worked for me in the past (because he didn't want to prescribe them "right away") and provided an alternative prescription (designed for a different diagnosis). When I expressed concern that the prescription has a higher likelihood of negative side effects when taken with an OTC I was taking (to help manage my mental health), he was incredibly dismissive, suggesting that I was uninformed. Desperate for help, I took the prescribed medicine anyway. When I reported a bad reaction to the prescription (lack of REM sleep, high anger levels, and skin rash), the therapist seemed to dismiss my concerns as dissatisfaction with the slow release aspect of the medication. The medication therapist first stated he would prescribe a mood stabilizer to counteract the reported side effects, then, a few minutes later, dropped me as a patient instead. I'm grateful as I now know that the medication he was going to add would have actually exacerbated some of my symptoms even more. I'm still hopeful that I can get assistance from a behavioral talk therapist, and I've been on a wait list for a different talk therapist about 6 months. The world needs more Native healers, especially mental health healers.”

“Well-Care Pharmacy is an interesting anomaly as far as pharmacies go. It was established about 2 years ago primarily to service the needs of patients often struggling with mental health issues, physically disabling injuries and long term homeless.Beyond just being a pharmacy, Well-Care is a community based enterprise which provider medical care, psychological sessions & even low cost group housing for clients needing these types of services. So, hence a pharmacy catering to their patients, delivery is also only a part of a seemingly needed & viable service in Reno, NV.Opening during COVID-19, the doors have not been open to the public for in-store shopping.Once Rx are electronically received by the pharmacy, they are readied & patients notified of a pickup date, delivery is offeredOnce at the door, a buzzer & phone number are posted clearly on the door. Should they be ready, a wait time of 5 minutes is average. Waiting in one's car will become necessary as temperatures drop & there is not any protective area for patients at this time!”

“While Walmart itself is fast going down hill. The pharmacy and its staff have always been very good over the years. I have nothing bad to say about the pharmacy. Walmart needs new leadership at this store on pyramid. Becoming a very dirty store. Sam Walton would be very upset at what his stores have become”

“This is hands down the best pharmacy I’ve EVER used. The people are so friendly, down to earth, and prescriptions are ready fast. It would be cheaper for me to fill through Renown but I’m sticking with them because their customer service is amazing! These people need raises CVS ?”

“I'm going out on a limb with this Yelp. Yes, I'm an employee and yes, I work in the pharmacy. I have given my team and I a four star Yelp because one can always improve. Nothing nor anyone is perfect. I would like everyone to take just a moment to hear my Yelp and acknowledge your pharmacy staff! We are always working and striving to meet your demands and needs. From working with your insurance because you feel your co-pay is to high to battling with the physicians because they have incorrectly written your prescription. The team tries so hard to keep all of our patients happy. But, reality is, that isn't what our patients see. Currently, our pharmacy has 3 full time licensed technicians, a Pharmacy Operations Manager, Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and a Pharmacy Cashier. It seems like enough staff, right? Really, it's not. Filling a prescription is much more than counting pills and slapping a label to a vial or box and poof it's ready for pick up! From typing to verifying to billing to review then to fill and on it goes to the next safety protocol before it's even bagged and put as a ready prescription. We ask patients to give us 15 minutes as what we call "waiters" and what we get in return, most of the time.. complaints, arguments, put downs, rude remarks, childish behavior from those that feel more entitled than others, for whatever reason I might add. People wait longer in line for their cheeseburgers and fatty fries then they will to pick up their cholesterol medications. The 20 minute coffee drive thru every single day doesn't phase them but the time it takes the pharmacy to fill their scripts accurately and safely is not even considered important. I'm just trying to express that we are working very hard and we try our best. We are human and we do fall short at times, which, is no different then the pickles you didn't want on your burger but they're still put on. Do you actually take your "valuable" time and report to the corporate burger headquarters how incompetent and lazy that the burger builders are? Absolutely Not! You pull the pickles off and gobble that burger. But when the pharmacy isn't able to kick out your 6 prescriptions in record time and then have to re-bill them because you forgot YOUR insurance changed and your old plan won't cover costs (go figure) but that seems to be a pharmacy issue because of our incompetent staff. What I'm trying put out there is that we are trying and we do work very hard for all of our patients. I really want to thank our wonderful patients that see us as human and acknowledge our hard work, our care, compassion and our friendly staff. Thank you to all of you for the kind words and uplifting smiles you give to us. If I could, I'd make sure a complementary latte was part of your pick up, just for the understanding of why you may have had to wait longer than you wanted too. Again, thank you, we, the team, appreciate you!”

“I like shopping at Raleys. They seem to understand the importance of customer service. They add checkers when the lines get long. Checkers ask if you found everything when checking out. The produce is presented clean, uniformly and good quality. There’s a good selection of organic options throughout the store. Bathroom has always been clean.”

“The best staff ever. I've been to several pharmacies throughout the years. I drive almost 20 minutes each way to this pharmacy. It's well worth it. Being treated with compassion, respect and they ALL go well above and beyond the call of duty. Great job pharmacy manager! Great job everyone and thank you for always being so wonderful.”

“I had an emergency and had to pick up a prescription and was hesitant when seeing the reviews of this location but I am presently surprised. First off I called had spoke to a very friendly lady who was helpful. The pharmacist was extremely friendly. And the CVS staff alone was super sweet as well. Not sure why so many negative reviews but whatever they changed was great bc everyone was wonderful there.”

“I go to the Life Force NV Chiropractic office weekly in the shopping center complex weekly. Smith's is the cornerstone store of the shopping center. I can always get a good deal on meats or other items. I get change for the vending machine where I live and the clerks are always kind and courteous. The Reed High School students can fill up the parking lot on lunch break and after school lets out but they are well mannered and put their back packs in the corner when they go in the store.”

“After waiting in line at Walgreens for 1/2 hour just to be told we have to have an appointment to get a flu shot, we went across the street to CVS Pharmacy and were taken care of by friendly and efficient people. We love CVS! Don't go to Walgreens unless you have an appointment!”
