“Sharing my positive experience with renting a safe deposit box with The American Guardian. My bank ran out of safes and I found them online. Cannot believe I wasn’t aware of this company all these years. So much more convenient than the bank. It took literally few minutes to sign up and you get 7 days a a week access which is great for me because I can never get to my bank during weekdays anyways. Prices are a bit higher than the bank but well worth it.”

Use it to buy your coffee and it's 50% off!This place knows everything a consumer in 2024 is looking for! Huge booths with plenty of outlets. Private "study rooms" (first come first served basis, no time limits). Excellent avocado toast. Delicious coffee. Friendly staff. And a few unobtrusive bankers in case, you know, you need an auto loan.Again there is no hard sell here. They are welcoming AF and low-key have a few bankers around.Several employees politely declined to be photographed (no worries, that's why I lways ask first). The lady in the photo with the plants enthusiastically agreed to be photographed.Oh and I got some Capital One swag! Car air freshners, because umm OF COURSE!All are welcome here. “I'm not totally happy with my experiences since joining this credit union 21-months ago, with both business and personal accounts.Beginning early this year, due to sickness and hospitalizations, I was unable to work, and found my business account balance in the hole. Since then it's been a struggle to get my head above water, and I've still had several occasions when my account was in deficit. As a result I was hit with several hundred dollars in overdraft charges. While some of those charges were rebated, as requested, I didn't think it was enough compensation. Would another bank have done the same? Who knows? But based on my circumstances, I thought I was deserving of more.On top of this, due to fraudulent activity on my account, my debit card was cancelled, and a new one sent to me through the mail. The problem is, I was not informed about this issue, and without a working debit card in hand, it makes it difficult to conduct my rideshare business., costing me hundreds of dollars in lost income.On the bright side, I've found the tellers and their on-phone customer service people, very polite and helpful. I don't think one could expect better.”

“My family has banked at WaFd for decades in another state. When they came to Nevada, we finally transferred accounts to the Rhodes Ranch branch and were very happy there. When that branch was closing, we stopped in at the Ann Road branch for some minor transaction. After talking to Jenn for a couple of minutes, we knew exactly where we would be banking. It was worth the 30 to 45 minute (one way) drive.A short time after that, WaFd HQ was updating their computers, records, etc. They needed to see and make copies of a trust agreement we had. Jenn called and said her manager, Abder, would drive to our home, pick up the papers and return them to us. Can you believe that? And, he did it! In the afternoon traffic. And, in good humor!You can't go in the door without Kasey and Destiny saying hello or waving from clear across the bank. And of course, they will do anything to help you.Alondra has returned from the "far north" to work at the Ann Road branch. She is the "frosting on the cake". We knew her from her first banking job as a brand new teller at the Rhodes Ranch branch. After a short time she became our "Banker".If you live within a 1 or 2 hour drive of this bank, go there.”

“I first joined this credit union when it was EG&G in 1975. It has gone through name changes since and I began doing my banking with Bank of America, Colonial and U.S. Bank but kept a small amount of money here to keep the account open. Bank of America was awful and I left them years ago. When 2008 hit, Colonial went under. At that point I banked primarily with U.S. Bank. Fast forward, most of my money is here. Good hours, free checking, the interest paid on your savings and checking accounts is better than any bank, reasonable interest rates on loans and better CD rates than U.S. Bank and the safety deposit boxes are at a very reasonable fee. While other bank's are offering less services, this credit union offers much, much more.”

We recently had an issue with our payroll processor Gusto's ACH transfers and needed fast help to get paper checks out to our staff. Rachel at this branch sat with us to work through a list of wire transfers and cashier's checks. That night and the next morning, their phone support helped us make quick stop payments when the payroll processor tried to charge us twice. And this week Christina and Katie have helped us update names on our account.Everyone answers calls right away, you get direct numbers to the people you need, and in all of my interactions from online banking support to in-person assistance the Bank of Nevada team is fast and professional. During COVID-19 we had a number of similar interactions where people like Dean and Joan helped us quickly apply for grants and loans to continue our community food services and instructional programs without interruption. We also get calls from actual people when a check signature looks off or when they have any concern about bank activity.Bank of Nevada represents the best of what you can expect from a regional bank and for small and medium-sized businesses that want real local support with their banking needs.
