“My wife and I bought some Ski's this past weekend and the staff was very helpful. Particularly Dan and Mike, Dan was very patient and helped us find the right boots that fit. He also explained the different types of gear and what would be best for what we wanted to do. Mike installed our bindings Saturday evening after we came in kinda late and he was swamped with same day gear fixes. I could not recommend this place enough!”

“I went to the Bozeman location looking for a pair of demo skis to use at Bridger bowl. Sadlly, because of the current snow conditions they were not doing a demo program but said their Bridget bowl location was. I went to the mountain and was taken care of by Garret. He was beyond accommodating and put me on a pair of stockli skis. I skied about half a day And broke my boot. Had to be transported back to the bottom via snowmobile. Garret set me up immediately and we were off to ski the rest of the day. I've worked in ski resorts and know how many employees get burned out or develop bad attitudes. Not with this establishment. Top notch in both locations.”

“These folks are awesome. I can almost always find what I need, and they don't mind me walking by dogs inside with me. They always have treats for them. The selection of gear for my home, garden, and work is almost all-inclusive. I've always found what I need for my pets. Plus, they always have, at least some, knowledgeable staff on hand. If they don't know what I'm asking for, they find someone who does.”

“Fantastic second-hand shop for all kinds of great outdoor gear. I scored a pair of swix xc gloves for $10!! As well as some lululemon leggings & carhartt sweatpants. This is my favorite place to hit up first anytime I come to Bozeman. I always find something amazing. Their boots & bottom layers selections are particularly good.”

“Heather here replaced the Columbias I bought that were advertised as waterproof and weren’t actually waterproof. Even sprayed the second pair with their own waterproofing before leaving the store.Fred was very friendly when purchasing the first pair. Approached me to ask if I needed help finding anything, was nice about it, but couldn’t help but think/feel like it was because of my appearance. No license, pedestrian, need to carry many items I need throughout the day in a backpack… can’t remember if I left my bag up front that visit… also have tattoos on my hand and arms, wear a hat and hood. Hadn’t noticed Fred approach any other customers that way on previous visits, experience it quite frequently. Always momentarily upsetting. Especially if no signs are posted about packs/purses and especially in retailers with loss prevention teams and plenty of surveillance cameras.Will likely shop here again. Not sure if Fred’s approach is the right or wrong thing.. could discourage somebody with the intention of shoplifting momentarily… wanted to avoid Fred after that, likely would have found another place to shop if I had the time, a vehicle, or didn’t need to speak about the waterproofing on the shoes I got.”

And if you're looking for a nice good selection of stickers they always have a bunch of stickers to hand out for free. “It's not Cabela's or Bass Pro but they have a good selection, especially focused on hunting and fishing. I came in just looking for a new jacket, hat and socks and at first could not find much. Then a helpful staffer pointed me in the right direction, including a clearance rack where I found an excellent jacket. So I left with everything I needed. I love that it's next door to REI so you can shop both.”

I came in without any knowledge about shoes, but he walked me through it and helped me to find a pair of shoes I enjoyed. Yeah the shoes are great but the customer service is absolutely ridiculously good. Not only will they find you shoes, but they’ll help you figure out the ones that are best for you.
