“I had been to 3 nurseries looking for Fire Chief arborvitae and burgundy barberry that can handle part shade. I struck out everywhere until I came to Sherwood's Forest. Within 5 min I had a full cart and am thrilled with my purchases. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. Update: I've been back twice today already and came home with 3 trees I'm really excited about finding (and totally missed yesterday). I haven't seen this tree at any other nursery, even substantially larger ones I've visited recently. Sherwood's Forest will be my first stop from now on because of the unique varieties they carry!”

I purchased an Etsy garden plan & took it up to Hartke to gather my plants. Eloise & Don (dynamic duo) took some time with me. Eloise designed placement & Don had the knowledge of every plant. After 2 weeks I got it done. It was hard work but so satisfying.”

“My new favorite moment of zen! This nursery/ gift boutique is truly an enchanting escape. The shop is gorgeously filled with unique gifts and a huge assortment of decorative pottery. It is an actual experience exploring the unique array of both indoor and outdoor plants guided by a welcoming and knowledgeable staff. I went in looking for a specific elusive succulent called an epiphyllum curly sue or an orchid cactus. She was able to find it at the farm and got it to me the same day! I may actually have to resist becoming a regular visitor unless I intend to build a greenhouse in my yard. The owners passion is contagious! Highly recommend adding this stop to your list for your next day off.”

“This place is really cool. The only thing it is missing is an actual restaurant with outdoor seating. The vibe reminds me of a restaurant in New Smyrna Beach, FL called The Garlic, where there is indoor outdoor seating, and it's super unique. It's such a secluded spot with so much greenery. A restaurant that fits the theme of the map would be perfect. Or even have a food truck festival with outdoor seating”

“I had 6 yards of garden soil delivered Saturday, 7/30/22. Due to soft ground conditions the driver could not access as close as I wanted to the dump site. However, he tried several times but the ground was too soft to get in the exact location. Due to utility wires overhead he could not get the dump fully elevated to dump the entire load. However, Darren made the extra effort to shovel out the dirt that would not dump. This is SERVICE above and beyond and kudos to Darren and Kurtz Nursery. The garden soil was perfect as well.”

I could probably find some stuff cheaper at other suppliers but you can’t beat the convenience. It’s also close to most of my jobs. The staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful to.”
“This place is insanely well run. The sales folks on the phone or at the counter are nice as can be. Their pricing is incredibly fair for the product they offer. Their delivery drivers are polite, well spoken and actually show up when they say they will. I mean even their restrooms and entire facility are the nicest out of any of my vendors. I hands down recommend this place to anyone looking for incredible topsoil or and mulch product.”
