“To call Boxwood Farms a nursery is to undersell this business. To call it a contemporary high end garden store would be a better description. Very tasteful pots, outdoor decorations as well as a good selection of exotic and outdoor plants would be more accurate. We did not try the restaurant which looks like it could be good.”

“This is my favorite nursery in the city! The down to earth customer service can’t be beat. I’m a 1st time home owner & I had big dreams for beautifying my from yard. I purchased an Etsy garden plan & took it up to Hartke to gather my plants. Eloise & Don (dynamic duo) took some time with me. Eloise designed placement & Don had the knowledge of every plant. After 2 weeks I got it done. It was hard work but so satisfying.”

“This is quite a delayed review- but better late than never. :) My mom really wanted some hanging plants for Mother's Day. I always drive by Colors of Spring and notice the beautiful plants outside (when they're open). We went together to pick them out, and loved the different varieties that they offered. We parked on Fyler for street parking, and walked in the back. Lots of different areas to look and choose from. I'm the furthest from a plant pro, so I wouldn't be able to tell you exactly what I saw. However; they looked well taken care of and of good quality. There were also a large variety on the outside of the front of the shop on Watson. We found a couple we liked to check out and the staff member working explained to my mom how to properly take care of her choices- water amount, sunlight amount. It was a quick and easy experience, I would definitely go back to find more in the future!”

“This location was packed last week for the end of April... but they had beautiful flowers and a wide assortment of mulch. I prefer to go to the smaller floral shops for actual plants, but I needed to come here for peat moss that they didn't carry elsewhere. Although it was busy the self check out went relatively quick. Overall pleased with the experience.”

“This location usually has everything I need for from a big box store for my jobs. Drainage pipe, lumber, fasteners, tools whatever. I could probably find some stuff cheaper at other suppliers but you can’t beat the convenience. It’s also close to most of my jobs. The staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful to.”

Between "Michelle" in the Lawn & Garden area at the Sunset Hills store, and the on-line representative, we got the order placed. I'm so impressed with Michelle - she was so incredibly helpful, despite being crazy busy. Nicely done Home Depot!”
