“Family Pet Hospital was one of my favorite vets to take my cats to, and I was so sad to lose them upon moving away from the St. Louis area.Dr. Collins was friendly and so good with both of my cats whenever they needed to go for annual checkups and vaccinations. She would help both animals feel at ease during their visits. If either cats had health issues or needed medications, setting up an appointment or requesting medicine was an easy phone call to the front desk. The receptionists are super friendly and helpful and easy to work with. I would recommend this place 10x over in trusting them with your pet's health!”

“It's been over twelve years, I think it is easily time to update my review. To be honest, things really haven't changed that much, I still think Dr. Gardner is awesome and I like the fact that they also practice holistic medicine. The entire staff is passionate about what they do and you can see the love they have for their patients. I recently had a very sick boy and made frequent calls to their office and they had so much patience with me. In the end, I had to make the call and lead my boy across the Rainbow Bridge and they were so kind and showed so much compassion towards me. When anyone ask me for vet recommendations, Animal Health & Healing is the first one I tell them about. I now live in IL and make the drive so my dogs have the best care.”

A friend referred me to Dr Scott and Chris and they are exactly what I was looking for. I went to them with a very sick cat and they have been tremendous at helping me care for him. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Friendly, called me when my dog was under anesthesia. Dealt with many people here (all super) and called me after to check on the dog. We have taken all of our loved ones here because the doctors and staff are CONSISTENT, KIND, PROFESSIONAL and TRULY care for each and every paw that comes through the door!?They will always take the time to make special accommodations if needed. They went the extra mile throughout the Covid shutdowns to ensure the safety of their clients while still getting everyone in. The doctors get to know you and your pets so you actually feel at home. You will find during appointments that they rarely need to consult the file to recall what's going on with your animal and they will give you all options available instead of pushing prescriptions or high cost procedures (although they are equipped to provide them if necessary). The support staff are sincerely amazing people who will get to know you and yours by name (even recognized over the phone!) and who regularly perform miracles under pressure.?I cannot say enough good things about this office and those who work within. For many people, veterinary care can be a daunting expense but we have always found Lemay to be fair, reasonable and more likely to prioritize care over profits.This review is intended to be informational (although long winded...) and also a big THANK YOU for the years of care!**Lemay is a smaller office, with 3 doctors on staff and currently they are operating on limited hours. There may be a bit of a wait for appointments- depending on your needs and circumstances. However, this is exactly the structure that allows for such personalized service and we have always found the trade off well worth it. Definitely advise the staff if you are in need of emergency assistance.*Be advised- Monday morning is a very busy time and phone calls may be placed on hold. They will always take the time to give every call the proper attention so be patient:)*If you call and hear an "office closed" recording, try back- there is only a small staff and they may be away from the desk or on a brief lunch.”

“I made an appointment just for a routine check up and vaccination for my cat. The appointment was fast, and it was easy to find a time when I could go. Everyone is super friendly and very helpful. I asked for resources on getting my cat spayed and was provided a list of vets near me, as well as low cost clinics, where I could spay her. It was just a great experience all around. It was also fairly cheap, I got a cat package which included all initial cat vaccines, rabies shot (tags are a few dollars) and a stool sample for 100$.”
