I am taking all my vehicles to Rick's Automotive from now on; I've had two great experiences with them involving my Dodge Ram Promaster cargo van. I went to the Dodge dealership and was quoted the same service for 8 times the price that Rick's Automotive charged me. Micah, customer service guy at the fleet desk was super cool to work with, as were all the clerks. Rick's has an awesome coffee bar & lobby area, but I didn't have to wait around very long because Michael, a polite gentleman who gives customers rides (and opens the doors for ladies, old-school style), took me home while my vehicle was being repaired and then picked me up when the van was finished. We consistently have great service through Rick's Automotive. We utilize them for our personal & business vehicles. We trust them, & don't feel like we are being "upsold". With that said, we appreciate their guidance & knowledge in helping us to repair what needs to be repaired. I highly recommend them.

Exceptional service is alive and well in Springfield! We were traveling back home when, around noon, we noticed a horrendous grinding noise. Exiting the highway to assess the damage, we determined professional help was in order. Several attempts failed to find someone who could look at our vehicle. We stumbled upon Rick's and how very fortunate we were. They agreed to try and squeeze us in but informed us that they may not be able to fit us in. Lo and behold, after 4 and a half hours and one revised estimate, the repair was completed. Note that photos of the wear items were shared via text message when the revised estimate was given. These clearly showed the extent of the rust damage. The vehicle was returned to me at 5:20 AND at the original estimated price. This is due to the fact that the visible wear was less than expected. Advisor Eric communicated expertly with me throughout the process. The fantastic service of the team at Rick's got us back on the road to home in record time. We could have continued on our way had we not decided already to spend the night and proceed in the morning.

I'd been to so many different mechanics, I was frustrated with my car problems and all the different diagnostics I had gotten from the other places. I found Ricks and went to them as my last hope. They were extremely pleasant and caring on the phone. Quick to get me in, and thorough. Not only did they find the issue, but they fixed my car and got me on my way in no time! I've not been able to use Rick's up until recently because I had an older car. They inspected my 94 Oldsmobile about 2 years ago as part of a free offer from my prior insurance company. But I was very impressed with that experience. They told me at that time that they didn't work on vehicles older than 2000 models which was understandable with the extra issues that make for complications with obtaining parts and the fact that they want to concentrate on giving good service to the majority of car owners. I just scheduled a brake inspection for my 2014 Kia because I've already learned in a year of owning it that I don't have much confidence in the maintenance department of the place I bought it or the other Kia servicers here in town. What bothers me is the few very negative reviews on Google that obviously have no basis for being counted against Rick's. It's unreasonable for people to be able to leave negative reviews for things like "they don't work on my old vehicle." I know for a fact that they tell you they don't up front. So why should that review be allowed to count against the Google overall rating? I just reported several unreasonable reviews to Google as being not helpful to determining whether to use services. I hope they take action on this because it's unfair bias by disgruntled individuals that has no basis for judging any business that provides automotive services to the public. It's obvious when you call and speak to anyone at Rick's that they want to please their customers. If it wasn't for a few negative reviews (that shouldn't even be here because they are either fake, unfair or inaccurate) that they probably would have a 5 star rating. No one is perfect but they have been in business a long time and they own up when they do make a mistake and try to make it right. I've seen too many businesses do otherwise. That's why I want to make sure to leave this review. I trust Rick's Automotive with my car and I know that most everyone knows they are probably the most professional and honest automotive service in this area. Keep up the good work!!

Advising people that pay attention to reviews do not go to big O tires or your car will come back more tore up than it was when you dropped it off if you were getting struts and mounts done. They also take several hours to get to your car so don’t worry about an appointment time because they are never on time.

I have never had a bad experience with Rick’s! I love them so much and will not go to anyone else! Today my ride came from Michael, and he was a true gentleman! I have never felt safer and more taken care of than from the boys at Rick’s! Also, I would love to give a shout-out to Keith as well. He is always so nice!

We recently took our motorhome to Rick's for service. Whether it's a family circle or work there are a few subjects that always come up in conversation. One of the biggest in my circles is customer service and how it's gone downhill. We have had several stumbles with it lately. Rick's Automotive has the BEST customer service and they are very knowledgeable. They explain everything. They offer their knowledge to help you maintain your vehicle. Frequent helper here. Love family owned businesses but don't love getting shafted. Especially when it's something as a simple fix and I get gouged on price. Came in here a while back for work on my Honda accord and couldn't believe how the dude at the front desk treated me. Would recommend somewhere else.

These people tried to charge me $1100 to replace a fuel pump... and then they charges me $140 to look at my vehicle when I already told them upon arrival that I just needed a quote for a new fuel pump.

These people are the friendliness and do an awesome job on my vehicles! They explain what needs to be done and are very reasonable on prices. Every time I go, I see another one of my friends there, regular friends and friends who are business owners. I can't say enough good things about them! Highly recommend Rick's!
