“First time to the St. Louis area but didn't want to stay downtown. Beautiful hotel in a nice location. There is some road noise as it is next to a highway. The water is soft and for anyone who has stayed in a hotel with soft water you know it always feels slimy ?. With that being said the room was very nice. Only issue with service was it appeared only one person was preparing the made to order breakfast. My wife and I waited for at least 5 minutes and went out for breakfast because we could see one person making food. We assumed they were also the one taking the orders and taking payment. If there was someone else, they never arrived. All in all we would definitely return. Very nice gym but we didn't have enough time to use it.”

“Leaving this review after my experience leaving a pair of headphones behind on a work trip.Destiny in guest services went above and beyond the call of duty by locating my headphones for me and personally mailing them back after one of her shifts.I greatly appreciate the help and generosity that she showed me and continues to show her customers and I wish her the absolute best!Thank you”

“As a wedding photographer, I always want to leave positive reviews for the venues that go above and beyond for my clients AND are stunning for wedding photos. The Ritz-Carlton definitely meets that criteria. The staff was professional and kept the day running. Everywhere you turn is a gorgeous backdrop for photos, and the rooms were excellent for getting ready photos as well. I definitely recommend for weddings!”

“This hotel offers small deals with my work which is why I chose to stay here. Beds were comfortable and I appreciated the large amenities in the shower to cut down on the tiny plastic bottle waste. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the free snacks at dinnertime were also a plus. Some of the ceiling tiles in our room seemed to be sagging which wasn't super appealing, but the rest of the hotel looked to be in good shape. I also really appreciated having the ease of the parking garage as an option. Great location close to the highway to hop on and off and get to the rest of STL.”

“Traveled to St. Louis for a client meeting and video shoot, and I stayed at the Royal Sonesta Chase Hotek in the downtown area. It was only about 15 minutes or so from the airport and had a lot of surroundings. From retail shops, dispensaries, parks, and more. The restaurants on site were good, but they seemed to be overwhelmed both nights. I stayed there. The room was great, but I did find an empty mug in my room.upon check I'm. I assumed it was the housekeepers. It was a very nice hotel and the staff were amazing. There was an issue with my reservation, and they fixed it immediately without any interruptions. It also has resident guests that love on one side, and if you look.uo the property, there have been some well-known names in history that have stayed here. Overall, my stay was great, and I would come back. There are plenty of restaurants on site and an actual movie theater, too. Very sweet spot.

Rooms: Large and clean rooms woth views.

Safety: Very nice area to walk around

Walkability: Plenty of spots to walk to and chill.

Food & drinks: Plenty of restaurants and sports bars

Noteworthy details: Movie theater on site.”

“Stayed here with my significant other we both thoroughly enjoyed our room and the staff was amazing. Roof top bar was closed to our disappointment. Would like to see the downstairs bar open longer in the off season. DO NOT bring your car or expect to pay $50 a day for valet. No other real parking options. Over all great visit and would suggest to others without vehicles”

“We came here before a show at the Fox.Our bartender was incredible. I didn’t catch her name, but she was very attentive (mom ears for sure!) and sweet. The manager came over and told me about many events they hold here, which I’m excited to attend to in the future.Despite the brisk evening, checking out the outside view was amazing. A bummer the deck isn’t wrap around as you miss that sunset!!Plan on coming back for sure”

“Pleasant stay in downtown St Louis at the Magnolia. Booked a room for a work trip with my Titanium status and was upgraded to a one-BR King Suite.Room was spacious and comfortable, water pressure in the shower was perfect and the bed was not too soft. Lavazzo pod espresso machine in the room and a bottled water. They even wanted to run some complementary sparkling water up to the room. Overall very pleased.Had drinks in the lounge, strong drinks, good bartender. Valet was fast and efficient.Gym was functional with a mix of cardio equipment and weights.Would stay here again!”

“The slots are usually good for quick & steady bonuses. I was there early Sunday morning and the bonuses was very slim to none on a "Lucky 88" machine. That machine is usually a steady flow. ???”

“Never stayed at a B&B before but I’m glad I stayed here. Henrietta was very pleasant and caring. The food was good. The room was decorated very nicely. The jacuzzi was great on my back and sore muscles. The location is great because you can slide downtown or hit the Delmar loop with ease. Can’t wait to make an excuse to go back. Oh and found out they give a discount to Veterans so that’s a plus.

Rooms: Diamond and Pearls room was great. Bed was comfortable along with the setup of the room itself. Staff is very courteous

Safety: Keycode to get in and cameras outside for your safety.

Walkability: In a good location to take a walk if you would like. They also have a balcony to the rooms as well as a patio area outside.

Food & drinks: Home cooked food was awesome.”

“HavenHouse was truly our safe haven when visiting St Louis for a medical appointment. From the start, they were the best. Easy to make the reservation. Answered all questions when I called (and called back and back and back again!). They even called a couple of days before to confirm the reservation. Not only did they provide an affordable room, they treated one adult per room and children under 12 to the buffet breakfast and also gave us, free of charge, one meal (which we had as lunch) and snacks and drinks. To top it off, they allowed us to borrow a microwave and use their freezer! It truly was a saving grace and we wish they were in all states we visit for medical appointments as they made us feel cared for, like we had friends we could ask for help. Cannot thank them or recommend them enough.”

“This has very easily become one of my favorite Marriott properties when I come to St. Louis. It's conviently located in the middle of downtown, it is reasonably priced, and the staff is warm, friendly, and so helpful; from the valet, to the front desk, to housekeeping. I had such a great stay and I'm looking forward to my next one.Walkability: It's in the middle of downtown.”

“When my insurance decided to stop my benefits for in-patient rehab -- while I was still non-weight-bearing from my knee fracture -- I had to come up with a solution for 2 weeks because my home is not handicapped accessible. That's when I chose "Lisa's Extended Stay" after reading a review from someone who stayed at this location for 2 weeks following surgery. My experience was as good as that person's. Lisa and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Lisa even asked about my injury's progress and shared my joy when I won my appeal with the insurance company. Rather than go back to rehab for 6 days, I decided to stay at the hotel in the handicapped-accessible room, which was perfect for my temporary needs.I call it "Lisa's Extended Stay" because this was more than a hotel stay; it was like being a guest in Lisa's home with many bedrooms! :-DMy only suggestion is to remove the carpet from accessible rooms and replace it with the laminate flooring, as it was a little difficult moving around in a wheelchair on the carpet.”

“The only thing I did not like is $150 charge they hold until check out. That's a lot... other than that EVERYTHING was so good. Cleanest hotel I've ever seen. ♥️”

“Amazing team of men work here. They worked together to get me unloaded and then helped me to get equipment in nose of trailer. And when one of them found me passed out(fainted) from the heat, they came together once again to help me out!!!”

“We had a great stay here! Nice, friendly staff, pretty lobby, rooms were stylish and clean and the bed was very comfortable with butter soft sheets. We brought our dogs and they gave us a ground floor room with hardwood floor that was an easy in/out for walks. Grassy areas around the side and back of the large parking lot were plenty of room to walk our small dogs around. Only issue was that people drive very fast through the parking lot and the restaurant side gets busy with cars so keep a lookout! Slight annoyance with the small half carts for bringing in luggage, we bring our dog crates and had to bring them in one at a time, but otherwise loading was easy. There was lot of nice seating in the lobby and people had small gatherings out there, could potentially be loud on a busy night but we were there mid-week so it was nice and quiet. The Twisted Tree restaurant attached to the hotel is fantastic but skip the breakfast at Wakey Wakey. Wish they had a regular hotel breakfast buffet instead! Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“This is a quaint hotel in downtown Clayton! It is not impressive from street view, but behind the walls is a well-appointed hotel with recent upgrades. The hallways on the upper floors are more of a labyrinth—but that just adds to the charm of this place.Staff is friendly and attentive and treats you like family.Rooms are adequate and cozy, but well appointed and seem recently upgraded. The best part of this hotel is that the toilets have HEATED TOILET SEATS! We were there during a bit of a cold spell and it was a treat! The lounge is comfortable and offers drinks and a full menu.I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s making a stop in the St. Louis area!”

“Such a fun and unique hotel. The front desk and valet person were so very nice. Very chill atmosphere which was great since we got snowed in for a day. They were more than accommodating for our late check out so we weren't stuck waiting so long at the airport. Our king room was set up so cute and unique I bet the suites are amazing!Nearby activities: There is a bar in the hotel and lots of food nearby! Just minutes from the arch, the city museum, etc.Safety: Very safe area. No issues with parking out rental on the street with meters instead of pricy lots. Never felt unsafe and walked around all over.”

“Just wanted to take a moment to share my experience here at Motel 6 in Maryland Heights. I’m on an extended stay and can’t be any happier that I settled here. I work long days and the staff here is great! Especially Kia. Anything I’ve needed, she is on top of the request. And I tell you that when you’re away from home, it means so much to have friendly folks around- so to see Kia’s smiling face when I come in from work is a blessing. Always has a hello and asks how I’m doing. I also appreciate her professionalism, when my AC was acting strange, Kia got maintenance there right away. Just a really great stay for me!

Rooms: Well kept”

“I was there for a conference and didn't use a bedroom. The meeting space was nice. The bathroom is kind of far. They have one by the lobby but they say it's for the guest. So, we had to use the other which much further apart. We bought chips from their store and a SMALLl bag of chips is $4.00. These same chips cost about 50 cents in a dollar store etc. . The price of Sodas was outrages also.Walkability: Parking was confusing. One side of the hotel is for guess parking and the other side was for guest. They need to put signs as you turn into the hotel with instructions.”

“+Staff was very helpful and gave credit to appropriate coworkers.-Parking lot charged $25 for parking...I was only there for a breakfast meeting. I didn't see any valet or handicapp parking available. Green space (very little) needed TLC (trash & branches were very visable).I was only in a meeting room.”

“We enjoyed our stay here, room was clean, staff was friendly, the breakfast was good especially the cooked to order omletes. The only issue was after the 1st night of our 3 night stay we were sitting on the couch watching TV, when someone without knocking used a key card to open the door get halfway in the room then say housekeeping, he then realized we were in the room and asked us what time we were checking out and I said we had two more days and he said okay and left. Left me feeling uneasy the rest of the stay that housekeeping doesn't seem to even knock first and just enters, it wasn't even check-out time either it was a little before 10am.”
