“We loved our dinner date at Lemp Mansion! We were in town for TransWorld Haunt Convention so of course we had to visit… wish we could have done the tour but since it’s off season they weren’t doing it the time we went. The building itself is amazingly beautiful. The staff was very welcoming and friendly… the food was delicious! We really enjoyed the flambéed bananas foster where they cook it on a cart by your table. Such a fun and unique experience! We will definitely come back and hopefully either stay the night or book a tour.”

“As a wedding photographer, I always want to leave positive reviews for the venues that go above and beyond for my clients AND are stunning for wedding photos. The Ritz-Carlton definitely meets that criteria. The staff was professional and kept the day running. Everywhere you turn is a gorgeous backdrop for photos, and the rooms were excellent for getting ready photos as well. I definitely recommend for weddings!”

“So,I will give it five stars bc they deserve it! I was part of a ballroom competition we had weeks ago, and the truth is that some stuff is not perfect, but if you ask stuff, or if you talk with management, believe me, they will do all they can!I was surprised how they managed everything very quickly. They try to do the best for guests.. the truth is also that the hotel is not “young,” and you can say there is a history of that place, and if you don’t like that, this is maybe not the hotel for you.. at Louis is not my favorite place, but it was nice to stay here.I want to thank especially to manager of this hotel who really took care of everything..!”

“We were in STL for a concert at River City Casino. We had plans to stay there, but they increased rooms to an absurd amount. So we looked and found here at an affordable rate. We loved the facility and the themed rooms. Breakfast was simply put amazing. Friendly staff. Next time we stay overnight in STL they will be our first call”

“I've never stayed at a B&B before and now I never want to stay anywhere else! The room was wonderful - well decorated and stocked - and the whole experience was phenomenal from start to finish. Henrietta was so sweet and helpful, and adjusted my breakfast time (which was delicious!) so I could start my day when I needed. 10/10 would stay again!”

“Stayed here with my significant other we both thoroughly enjoyed our room and the staff was amazing. Roof top bar was closed to our disappointment. Would like to see the downstairs bar open longer in the off season. DO NOT bring your car or expect to pay $50 a day for valet. No other real parking options. Over all great visit and would suggest to others without vehicles”

“We came here before a show at the Fox.Our bartender was incredible. I didn’t catch her name, but she was very attentive (mom ears for sure!) and sweet. The manager came over and told me about many events they hold here, which I’m excited to attend to in the future.Despite the brisk evening, checking out the outside view was amazing. A bummer the deck isn’t wrap around as you miss that sunset!!Plan on coming back for sure”

“So, my husband and I stay here several times a year while visiting family. This hotel has been a clean and restful place to stay. However, our last stay just before Christmas proved to be very upsetting. Not only was there feces and urine on the toilet seat, which I used the soap and paper to clean, myself, but there were previous guests pubic hairs all over the bath mat and hair in all the corners of the floor, just floating around and settling on everything. I complained to the front desk lady who sent a message to the maid staff. We were so tired when we came back to our room that we just chucked it and slept. The following morning, I once again complained to the very nice front desk lady who sent a maid up to clean it. When we came back to our room, the maid had not cleaned the hairy floor and had gone through our luggage! We always set our bags zippers a certain way so we can clearly see if someone has tampered with them. My next complaint went to the maids manager in staff that day. She came in and cleaned the hairy floor up herself and was appalled at the amount of hair on that floor. As we left the room, the maid was watching us leave, knowing she got caught. She stared me down until my elevator opened. No remorse, just mad she got caught. I have expected to hear from the hotel manager but not a word. Your business is only as good as your employees make it, and they can through you under quickly. Top floor, room 614.”

“Pleasant stay in downtown St Louis at the Magnolia. Booked a room for a work trip with my Titanium status and was upgraded to a one-BR King Suite.Room was spacious and comfortable, water pressure in the shower was perfect and the bed was not too soft. Lavazzo pod espresso machine in the room and a bottled water. They even wanted to run some complementary sparkling water up to the room. Overall very pleased.Had drinks in the lounge, strong drinks, good bartender. Valet was fast and efficient.Gym was functional with a mix of cardio equipment and weights.Would stay here again!”

“The slots are usually good for quick & steady bonuses. I was there early Sunday morning and the bonuses was very slim to none on a "Lucky 88" machine. That machine is usually a steady flow. ???”

“This has very easily become one of my favorite Marriott properties when I come to St. Louis. It's conviently located in the middle of downtown, it is reasonably priced, and the staff is warm, friendly, and so helpful; from the valet, to the front desk, to housekeeping. I had such a great stay and I'm looking forward to my next one.Walkability: It's in the middle of downtown.”

“Amazing team of men work here. They worked together to get me unloaded and then helped me to get equipment in nose of trailer. And when one of them found me passed out(fainted) from the heat, they came together once again to help me out!!!”

I also appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel overall. Even with the small breakfast bar they offer, it’s always stocked and ready to go! “We had a great stay here! Nice, friendly staff, pretty lobby, rooms were stylish and clean and the bed was very comfortable with butter soft sheets. We brought our dogs and they gave us a ground floor room with hardwood floor that was an easy in/out for walks. Grassy areas around the side and back of the large parking lot were plenty of room to walk our small dogs around. Only issue was that people drive very fast through the parking lot and the restaurant side gets busy with cars so keep a lookout! Slight annoyance with the small half carts for bringing in luggage, we bring our dog crates and had to bring them in one at a time, but otherwise loading was easy. There was lot of nice seating in the lobby and people had small gatherings out there, could potentially be loud on a busy night but we were there mid-week so it was nice and quiet. The Twisted Tree restaurant attached to the hotel is fantastic but skip the breakfast at Wakey Wakey. Wish they had a regular hotel breakfast buffet instead! Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“Such a fun and unique hotel. The front desk and valet person were so very nice. Very chill atmosphere which was great since we got snowed in for a day. They were more than accommodating for our late check out so we weren't stuck waiting so long at the airport. Our king room was set up so cute and unique I bet the suites are amazing!Nearby activities: There is a bar in the hotel and lots of food nearby! Just minutes from the arch, the city museum, etc.Safety: Very safe area. No issues with parking out rental on the street with meters instead of pricy lots. Never felt unsafe and walked around all over.”

“I Liked It and enjoyed my Stay when I was there around the Holidays and I asked for A good room and they willingly delivered. My room was clean and fresh Bed was great , Staff/owners was nice . Know Drama with Surroundings . *I would like to think Hazelwood Budget Inn is still the same and will visit there again for SURE?Noteworthy details: Efficient for a person who has a Simpler Way of Doing things not necessarily looking for Luxury, just a good SAFE Clean Quiet comfortable room and nicely ask/tell them that's what you Expect or want in your stay there etc..”

“This hotel was minimal but was nice. We knew going in we weren't going to have a fridge or microwave. It's located close to a few stores. The breakfast was good and the lobby was beautiful. The beds were soft and I had no problems with the room at all.”

“The staff was amazing and very helpful, the room was very nice and my only complaint is the bed is very hard to sleep on and if I come back I need to bring my own bed or mattress ”

“I was there for a conference and didn't use a bedroom. The meeting space was nice. The bathroom is kind of far. They have one by the lobby but they say it's for the guest. So, we had to use the other which much further apart. We bought chips from their store and a SMALLl bag of chips is $4.00. These same chips cost about 50 cents in a dollar store etc. . The price of Sodas was outrages also.Walkability: Parking was confusing. One side of the hotel is for guess parking and the other side was for guest. They need to put signs as you turn into the hotel with instructions.”

“+Staff was very helpful and gave credit to appropriate coworkers.-Parking lot charged $25 for parking...I was only there for a breakfast meeting. I didn't see any valet or handicapp parking available. Green space (very little) needed TLC (trash & branches were very visable).I was only in a meeting room.”

“Excellent staff at a dated facility. It’s great to have a Concierge back in the lounge and Ginese is a great host. Also appreciated Julie at the bar. The room was clean and well maintained, but lacked usb power ports.”

“Great location and amenities for those traveling through STL. Despite a seemingly dated structure, the Marriott St. Louis Airport is a hopping venue with updated interior and rooms. My two queen bed room was compact, but there was no smell of mold or mildew and the bathroom was very clean. While the wings were a bust at the on-site restaurant, I highly recommend the smash burger! Great flavor, crispy patties, and if you like aioli, pair it with your fries. This would have been a five start review had it not been for the Lounge "benefit" for Marriott Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite members. I visited after check-in to find no food (trays and chafing dishes were picked clean), room charge only 'honor bar', and a staff member seemingly indifferent about the lack of offerings. Thankfully the front desk staff was able to help me remedy this experience with a voucher for the on-site restaurant.”

“Went here for a luncheon (note I did not stay at the hotel). The room we were in for the luncheon was great. The staff who worked the event were very nice, helpful and pleasant. The best were the guys at the valet station and the bellhops (assuming that is there job, they were at a desk in the lobby, but not the front desk). These guys were great. I was waiting for my ride and they were kind enough to make conversation with me. Also, my ride was very late, so they were helpful enough to let me use the desk phone to call the person repeatedly to check on their location. While waiting I was observing and they were helpful to everyone who came to them. Great impression!”

“I guess "location" could get 5 stars, given proximity to the airport... For my purposes, I gave it 4. A word of advice... Book this hotel online. We saved over $20 by doing so, the staff was more than accommodating in instructing us to book online. The room was very clean, the hotel was very quiet. We were not disturbed once through the night, which is unusual in this area. The nearest convenience store is 1.2 miles down woodson road, you'll find a dollar general and a 7-11 there. Overall, I would say you'll have a hard time finding a better room at this price point in this area. Happy travels!Rooms: Room was clean, bathroom is very nice for the price.Walkability: 1.2 miles to a general store, which isn't so far. It's a nice walk, really.”
