Took my new engine in for a checkup and everything seems fine. Engines aren't cheap but my new-not-rebuilt 5.3 Vortec wasn't too bad: $6k including R&R and a 3yr 100k nationwide transferable warranty. These folks know their stuff and customer service is great. They've been very patient with me ?
