“I had a wonderful first-time western apparel shopping experience with George, Patty (the owners) and their staff. Extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful staff guiding me through all the intrinsics of western clothing. I found their prices to be really good and they even had some additional offers on boots, shirts and belts among things.
While I ended up buying my first Steteson hat at their outlet store in Joseph, next time around I'll buy it from George and Patty. Also look forward to buy my next set of Ariat boots from them when I come to visit Kansas City.
While it's a small store, they have a big selection and they are more than happy to order home anything you want at a competitive price.”
“I just had the most amazing and delightful experience I’ve ever had while clothes shopping!!! I walked into scrub hub and the ladies working at this place were a whole vibe, it’s refreshing to walk into a place where the employees are actually happy to be there!! Jody and Sonya were clearly having a great day and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it! I didn’t even have to ask for help, Jody checked in with me and I let her know that I was new to the scrubs world and I just wanted something stretchy. These ladies really knew their stuff because they gave me 2 brands right off the bat and helped me find tops and bottoms that were just perfect and comfortable. Im entirely confident that I can go to work wearing quality scrubs that won’t give me a wardrobe malfunction. Also, Jody and Sonya made the whole thing feel like a boutique experience, give those girls a Christmas bonus!!!”
“Love, love, love this shop! So grateful my friend introduced me years ago. I have a closet full of dresses that I love! If you have ever had dressing-room-dread, this will be a healing place for you. Sometimes, all I need is to hear is a "ooooooo, gurl" or a queer squeal and clap for allllllll these curves to help me feel better. Retail therapy at its finest! A few of the dresses I have... lol... it doesn't help that my awesome hairdresser is next door!”
“UPDATE: Last week I went to the expo and didn't take advantage of the Garmin sale. Apparently, this is highly regulated by Garmin, not by the store. They worked to find a solution for me to get close to the expo price and I really appreciate the effort. They are drop shipping at no charge. Please shop here!!
3 years ago... I met Scott at the Hospital Hill expo. Another young lady was helping (I didn't get her name but she was the sweetest) and I was buying some shoes. I wished out loud that they had another pair at that price. She asked Scott and he called the store. He found another pair but the store was inconvenient to home and I mentioned where I lived. He was actually going to be in that area the next day for an event and offered to bring the shoes. After his event he dropped them by my house. WAY above and beyond. I'll be making the trek to their store whenever I need anything. Great job Running Well Store.”
“One of the best sneaker stores in kc, always got sum wild deals. Also super chill staff, introduced my friend to then since I come here alot and they straight made my guy a whole on fit and hyped him up. Again super chill crowd.

“Running well is truly an amazing store if you want to get the right pair of shoes for you. They have a great selection of good brands, and the second I walked in the door Eddie greeted me and helped me right away. I told him I was looking for long distance walking shoes, so I walked on the treadmill while he analyzed the way I walked. Then he explained what shoes would be best, and brought multiple pairs for me to try. I would highly recommend this store to anyone!”
“After having been to DelBrenna in Cortona 14 years ago, this was a MUST DO for me when my husband and I traveled through KC during the holidays, I had purchased a ring from the Cortona store and it needed a small repair. Fortunately, for us, we were able to meet Megan and Sebastian and learned that Sebastians father had made it! So special! We have so many wonderful Cortona memories, I was compelled to purchase a Cortona pendant and a beautiful signature chain. Merry Christmas to ME! I love it! Meeting Megan and Sebastian was the highlight though, we shared a story of us passing through their store 14 years ago and Megan helping us with finding Bramasole ...I still had the map she drew us! When she saw it she was so surprised! Anyway - we have made new friends and hope to meet again in Cortona! I’m at the store a lot to see the new deals and products they have coming in and the people that work there are AWESOME, when I’m there I’m usually helped by Jose who’s absolutely the best! “Genuinely, I wasn't going to buy anything. I showed up at around 12:30 with friends to window shop and was assisted by a very kind gentleman who had tattooed fingers. I deeply regret that I did not ask his name. Should he see this review, I hope he knows he made my day.
Upon walking in, He let us know of the sales going on, and I made my way over, spying a lovely sage green crossbody bag with gold hardware.
As I am a plus size individual, I often find that I need to order aftermarket straps of a longer legth, or I need to see if the home brand sells strap extenders on their own, and often times, I've faced judgement and discrimination from other designer brands when asking after their plus size options.
When I asked my sales associate, he immediately suggested one of your charmed chain straps to be used as an extender, and an accessory. There was no judgement, there was no period where he focused on what you didn't provide, he just took my question and found a brilliant innovative solution. Genuinely, *this* interaction, and my interactions with him as an individual are what made me purchase the bag (and extender) today.
In addition to that, I had a wonderful conversation with Ms. Houston, one of your other sales associates. She was bubbly and had excellent recommendations for my friend who was looking for accessories and outfit specific items.
All around my favorite experience I've ever had when it comes to a designer brand. Thank you very much to the employees of the KC plaza coach location.”
