Replaced my gas fireplace logs (25 years old) with a new set. The team at Leisure World Pool and Hearth took time to educate me on my options, walked me through the process and had a great team of installers to complete the job. Very pleased with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone who would ask.

Although I didnt actually require service, they answered my questions about my current gas fireplace. After giving them the make/model of my unit, I now understand how it all works and feel confident in using. I wouldn't hesitate to call them for service/maintanence!

I had leisure world come out to open my pool at the end of May. The guy showed up pull the cover off, said that the pool was too dirty to clean right, then had forgotten the chemicals and was going to return and finish the job when he returned he still had no chemicals and did not finish cleaning the pool. He checked the pump hello Flow of the water I left still no chemicals. Yes he charged me over $300 on my invoice for them. I had to buy my own chemicals and put them in myself. He finally sent me an invoice for the opening of the pool and I sent them the copy of the invoice and the date and time that I got it in August 2020. Not realizing that the chemicals had never been delivered. I found out from my daughter said he’s never delivered the chemicals. I called the shop talk to the manager told him what happened he said that’s fine will reimburse you send me a copy of your credit card and I will credit your account for the amount of the chemicals never happened. This owner I guess Gary didn’t text me and told me that the chemicals were delivered and if there was a problem why did I wait too much from the start date of May I sent him a copy of the invoice that they sent me a email on the day that I sent it. He then told me he wasn’t going to honor the commitment that his manager made to reimburse me for the chemicals. I had sent him a copy of the receipt where I had to go buy all the chemicals. He said that he would reimburse me half the price of the chemicals but I had to pay for a closing for over $400. A few weeks went by and then I got a call from them saying that I had to pay upfront for the closing or they wouldn’t close the pool. Now they took me. for $300 plus promised me they would reimburse the chemicals that were delivered and reneged on the whole thing. I have been doing business with them since 1978 and this is the way they treat their customers been down there twice or three times every year getting what little Kayla chemicals I needed water testing etc. etc. they’re liars and they’re cheap and I hope that he Carrie sure enjoys his $300 because he’s going to lose 10 times that for me anyone, And I can prove every word, I said

We had them install a gas insert into our fireplace and are very happy with both the results and the process. Also, we were having an issue with the old key hole valve recently and they came and out did a great job resolving the issue. Highest recommendation!

We have been a customer of Leisure World since we purchased our woodstove from them, then hired them to install it in early 2010. Each year we have had them clean and inspect our stove and chimney.This year, during the routine cleaning/inspection, they cleaned our blower which is attached to the back of the woodstove. Justin mentioned how dirty it was, but to our knowledge, it had not been cleaned by LW since it was installed (13 years) so not too surprising.A week or so later, when we had our first fire in the stove, and turned the blower on. It was extremely loud. I mean, really loud. It had not been loud before the cleaning.We called L W and left a message. We received a call back from L W who postulated that it was perhaps a bearing or other part that needed to be replaced, or a totally new blower installed. This made sense, especially in contrast to our own thoughts, wondering if the act of cleaning had damaged the blower or knocked something loose. We concurred and LW staff said they were going to check on availability of a new blower.Days went by with no word. In the meantime, we found one online and ordered a new blower. We also called L W and told them not to worry about it, we would take care of the blower situation, and LW staff acknowledged this arrangement.On Thursday, November 2nd, Justin called us and offered to come inspect the blower since he was in the area, saying that he thought he had located a blower that would work but wanted to see if it was something simple and could be fixed before ordering it. I said he was welcome to inspect the blower and mentioned that my husband had ordered another blower already, but if this one was fixable, we could cancel the order or send the new one back. Justin's demeanor on the phone changed markedly with this revelation. He seemed to lose interest in coming to check the blower even though it was seemingly fine before he cleaned it out.It just seems like really bad customer service to offer to check for a quick fix until it became apparent that he wouldn't be selling us the unit if it needed to be replaced.So instead of taking the 15 minutes or so to come by and check the blower for us, as should have been done in the first place, after receiving our first call regarding the noisy blower issue, Leisure World chose to take a different route, and by doing so, have lost a long-time customer forever.

Replace my gas fireplace with an electric one. The folks at Leisure World, particularly Brian and Al, comprehended my issues once they came out to do the annual maintenance. A previous owner had surrounded the gas fireplace with a beautiful vintage library, but created a fire hazard. Design flaw big time. Now that the electric is in, I can be assured of my safety and convenience. The model replicated a close enough traditional fire, and the room has been completed as intended.

Leisure World Pool is the best pool company in the area. They are experienced and responsive. The only company we have used for our pool and fire pit. Justin and Al are the best.

Greatly appreciate communication with Brian having been introduced by the manufacturer of our pool heater. This was sight unseen and Brian worked with us until we set an appointment a few weeks later. AL came out and diagnosed the problem immediately. He too was very personable and kind to have at our home. I have a feeling we have ourselves a new pool company and refreshing to have their professionalism.

A section of my vinyl liner had slipped from the edge of my pool. My normal pool company came out, was at my house for 3 minutes, said the liner couldn't be fixed, and charged me $200. Since they said the liner would have to be replaced, I obtained 3 bids. The bid from Leisure World was the cheapest and they were the most professional, so I selected them. When Justin came out to measure for the new liner, he told me my current liner was in great shape and he could fix the section that had fallen out of the track. He repaired the liner and saved me several thousand dollars. I'm so thankful that my neighbors recommended Leisure World. I will be using them exclusively from now on!

Justin spent almost an hour on a cold call diagnosing potential issues. Then continued to communicate by email before we decided on a plan of action. He sent someone out who went over all the issues thoroughly and now our pool is working perfectly and is back to being enjoyable

Leisure World continues to provide outstanding service at a reasonable cost. Recently swimming pool's main drain handle broke and a technician responded right away. He indicated that he could re-plumb the lines around the filter to make the system simpler and more effective. Once completed, he sent a video showing how to use it. When the invoice arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at what LW charged. Can't say enough good things about this company and the way they care for their customers.

Daryl was an absolute pleasure to talk to. My boyfriend and I needed help opening our pool for the first time and he broke down every single step for us. Very clear instructions and helpful recommendations. We will continue to be customers of this place for as long as we have a pool. Kindness goes a long way and not many businesses show that anymore. All of the staff were very friendly and we really recommend people stop in for any pool related needs. Thanks again for taking your time to be very helpful and make our day.
