However, when I picked her up, she was trembling as she usually is after a grooming. And her groomer was super patient, informed me of some possible issues with Snowflake's after care. And the sweater and necklace was such nice touch. I am impressed and will be back.

But Weston met w me I showed him the prior grooming pic saying I don't like that! He looked at her pointed out she had some matting but said he would do his best. Weston rocks....Ginger is beautiful! Steve and Rusty do a great job of giving love and attention to all the dogs there. They work very hard to provide a place that is safe for your dog and yet keep their prices down. Talk with them and you will find two men with a passion for taking care of dogs. You can spend more but you will not get more canine love. I have had them watch my dog Rufus for over a year now and am very pleased with what they have done. I have attached a picture of Rufus in play there. Can't you see the smile?

I now have a female chorkie and they once again did the most amazing job of taking care of my Gigi and I am forever grateful and will be going back every month. I love the love they show our pets. I’ve never had to worry dropping my pet off to them and I would recommend Pampered Paws Grooming to anyone I know. She always has the BEST STAFF. They are caring, personable, and consistently go above and beyond for my dog. I always leave there feeling taken care of, with my questions answered. On top of all of this, they are affordable compared to any other vet I have gone to. Highly recommend.
Also, they are a smaller operation (only 1 vet, more customer service-oriented, less corporate-feeling), if that is appealing to you.

He sits on the ground & lets our small dogs approach him rather than trying to pick them up. Has been very helpful in managing our anxious pups. I’ve had positive experiences with Dr. Austen & Belew too. Not all vet clinics are created equal & Union Hill is by far the best of 3 we’ve used over the years.

You'll leave with information overload instead of being unsure or not completely understanding. They're amazing with cats, no matter how cranky or how sick. They are honest, straightforward and they're not trying to take your money with unnecessary tests and nonsense. They are compassionate and always go the extra mile to help you. If test results come in on a Saturday, they'll call you on a Saturday even though the office isn't open. They keep in touch with you to find out how things are going and make sure you understand anything you're not sure about.
They're great with routine care, too! It's not a 10 minute in and out visit, they will completely check out everything and tell you as they go any concerns they may have. They won't rush through things and shove you out the door, it will be the most thorough exam your cat has ever had. They're also just genuinely likable people who have a great passion and love for felines.

Cory did an outstanding job with making us feel at ease with all of the transitions, education, communication, and most importantly caring for our wonderful girl while she was there. Two weeks felt like a very long time to be without her, but I just went on the longest walk I’ve ever had with this beautiful girl, and I couldn’t be happier. Right out of the door she was able to walk, pace, stop, and sit with virtually zero prompting; I even handed the leash off to my 10 year old who is on the spectrum, and our pup responded perfectly. She even held “place” command on her first try outdoors with us! Thank you so much Cory for investing your time and energy and making ADU a fantastic time for our girl! ❤️ ?

After months of keeping them separate, trying to work it out on our own, and my wife and I residing on different levels of the house, we raised the white flag and looked to an actual expert...cue, Beyond the Dog.Outcome: Erin met with us a few times a week for multiple months and was able to get the pugs back in the right mindset and bring sanity back to our household. She was so efficient that near the tail end [pun intended] she found time to also work on their responsiveness to strangers both at the park and at retail locations. I will be the first to admit that I was skeptical of how all of this would pan out - especially given the monetary cost that bringing an expert in entails. That said, the harmony restored to our household, coupled with my wife's joy in being able to take group photos again, quickly converted the cost into an investment. Our two favs were the Rockhill and Locust and their golden lager they had on tap that day. Definitely have to come back.

It is clean, organized and each cat is treated with individual special care. I've been adopting and volunteering at shelters my whole life across the country and this non profit really stood out. Their message is clear and their undeniable selfless love for these animals shines through most.Each cat there is so unique from tiny kittens of every breed to teenage cuties and large cats like Maine coons! The cat's kennels are set up in windows with plenty of light, play room, toys, kennel hammocks, kennel buddies so they can have ample time to socialize and with each kennel set up next to one another so they can interact with one another instead of live in solitude in a dark, windowless plastic box that I see most cats in shelters living in. They even have a fenced in courtyard with trees, grass and cute chairs where they let some of the outdoor indoor kitties lounge and watch birds. It warmed my heart and they could use all the help they can get from the community!The owner Mina, was telling me stories of all the ways she's helped around the city, tiny example of all the stories I'm sure she has. One story was about how she received a call from someone who had a cat giving birth outside in -10 degree weather and wouldn't come inside during and she went all the way out to rescue them all! She found homes for most but some were still there!She went into detail about how they specifically choose the right owners for the cats and anyone that might give them a bad feeling about not being a good fit they wouldn't adopt out to. That's HUGE for me. I hate seeing people unfit to adopt do it for the wrong reasons and it's a big fear of mine when fostering my own strays and giving them to shelters. They set them up with all their shots, vaccines, chip and spay/neutering. All at very low cost for a small non-profit.In all, I can't say enough about these women and what they are doing at Another Chance. I adopted my kitten from them and I hope you do too! They also except Venmo donations and volunteers! Check them out!

KC Pet Project - Zona Rosa Adoption Center
8721 N Stoddard Ave, Kansas CitySuper friendly! When you go in, make sure you have looked online at the dogs as they don't let meander. The staff is awesome and helped with any questions and even helped with the introduction between our current pet and the one we wanted to adopt. Super clean facilities you can really tell they have thier heart in these animals care.
