“There is a worker there named Melissa who deserves the world. At least a raise she really deserves it! She’s funny and attentive. She helps out when she doesn’t have to. Not only is this a well stocked store the employees make you want to come back again. She is an asset to your company.”
“This is my neighborhood GD.I find the employees very nice and friendly. There is some stuff in the aisles waiting to be stocked but they are doing best they can with probably being short staffed. They have always been helpful and I appreciate them.”
“This store is so much cleaner, brighter and organized than any Dollar General in the Northland. The merchandise selection is better and I would argue the quality is better. Pricing is fair. I've given up on DG (for many reasons) and plan to only shop at Family Dollars going forward.”
“Typical dollar store experience. Aisles are cluttered, things can be difficult to find, but the prices are good for the most part. This DT has self checkout stations available.”
“Service is GREAT. They keep the store very well stocked and neat so, It’s very quick and easy to choose my items. I can’t help but smile when I walk into this store. Sometimes, it’s a little packed, but that’s because it’s the best dollar tree. The cashiers are also very friendly and sweet.

“Visited here recently and I don't think we had any complaints. The store was pretty well stocked and had quite a bit of Halloween/Fall decorations for sale. We ended up getting a few things that we didn't plan on which is always a good thing. Overall, the store seems pretty spacious inside as well. There was only one cashier working at the time we checked out so a line was starting to form but the cashier was very quick and friendly. Overall, not a bad Dollar Tree!”
“My daughter went into this store to get some snacks. She thought she had more money on her card than she did. When she got to the register is when she realized she didn't have enough. The cashier was so nice to her and paid for her stuff. I wish I knew her name but I don't. I think that was so nice of her. All the workers there are always so nice. Love this location”

“6244 n chatham ave kcmo 64151 is crowded full of Carts I complained to no avail You need to Remodel this store one check out it's outdated coolers have every thing merchandise ect stacked on top of them that's not safe looks like a thrift store Staff is very beligerant I tried to tell the stock boy his carts are messy don't throw stuff every where there are children He Scoffed at my criticism Oh well I've given my review The rest is up to you”

“It had been nearly a year since I braved this store, the last time I was there it was a nightmare of racks so you couldn't shop and one cashier. I left not wanting to return. For convenience sake I went and was pleasantly surprised and on how clean, orderly, and well stocked the store was. Still only one at the checkout but there no line and the cashier was lovely. I noticed men working on making the store the way I described.Dollar General stores have all been a mess with racks of unstocked product, and you can't get to the merchendise. I don't want t to shop them anymore for that reason.Today this Dollar General was a pleasure to shop!Thank you”

“Holy heck my dude this dollar tree is an absolute gosh teir. You should definitely go here. Prices insane, products insane. I went here after having lots of drinks so perhaps that enhanced my view of dollar tree but I would definitely go again. I did feel bad for the employees they had to deal with, in fact my friend painted her nails to test the nail polish but didn’t like it. And I feel like that was just not cool in their eyes but when we left they said “thanks so much please come dollar at the dollar tree again, sell your souls to dollar” so they probably were ok with it.”
“Always stocked . Great general store. Home goods, food ( some refrigerated) , cleaning, clothes and more. Store does need updates and there has been a few disturbances to the building. The community is working on that.”

“Today upon entering the store I was greeted sweetly by Angelique, a hard-working, upbeat and kind store Associate! Every part of my experience was positive and my family frequents here often! Angelique brings energy and knowledge of her store/products and proactively Jumps in to help! I love it here and this is where I will drive to from North Kansas City, yes->far from where I live... To shop. There are Many dollar general stores on my route.. But, because of her interactions with our community...I and my family- I will continue to come to thisssssssss store!! “I recently went to Dollar General over on Truman and Hardesty in Kansas City Missouri and I found they had upgraded the store immensely. it was clean, the staff was absolutely wonderful, very helpful, very nice cava and pleasant. all I can say is it did 180% turn around for what it was a year ago. it's a must visit store now. they actually have vegetables fresh and a whole aisle I'm groceries like you would normally find in a regular grocery store considering it being a little convenience store. it was very nice to see these changes. And also the staff we're very helpful. the prices are still good. I found the store to be cleaned and not very busy. it was Daddy parking was okay I would just say that if you haven't been to the new Dollar General store since they upgraded it you must go. that's my opinion. I had no problems there at all. It was an easy in and out experience for me.”

“Stopped by here looking for a water bottle for my Son. Found it for just $1.00! Also, I was looking for a Father's Day card for my children to give to their Grandpa ( I overlooked it) but the manager of the store was soooooo helpful, she walked back to the isle with us to show us where they where! “Early morning stop by to get something to drink. Has this dollar store changed managers? Very nice & friendly. The last store manager I dont know what the hell her problem was, that's why I had stopped shopping there. Always watching you, like you were coming in there to steal something. But I was in there one day, & this teenager did steal right in front of her eyes. She chased him out the store onto Blue Ridge Blvd. Leaving other customers standing in line. But thank you $ store, Blue Ridge cutoff & Sni a bar Rd. RaytownI'll truly visit again.”

“I’ve been a few times and they are nice. I have gone later in the evening closer to closing but they are still friendly. The cashier was a wonderful person with some fabulous red hair. She was very nice and friendly! Would be nice if they were open later into the night though. There is barely anywhere you can go late at night in the northland anymore.”
“Recently remodeled and now entire store-length row + of cold items. Grocery items are very competitively priced or cheaper compared to the nearby grocery, additional deals from app coupons.”
