“I have never written a review of a store like this before. But my recent stop in this store was above and beyond. I have never encountered such friendly and helpful staff, from the gentleman who was stocking and greeted me as I came in to the younger gentleman who was working the register. Both offered assistance and the first man, who seemed to be a manager, directed me to a seasonal display I might be interested in. He joked with me while also working very hard. The young man was extremely professional and seemed to really enjoy his job. All employees appeared to have a great rapport and working relationship. There was also signage on the door with the GM’s contact info in case anything needed to be called to his attention. Apparently great improvements are being made to this store! I’m grateful and will now return more often!! Great job. Thank you!!”

“I went to the location on 6638 Nieman in Shawnee. Loved it. OMG. It is nothing like the stores out South. It has a "Home" section and I fell in love with it. The store is so well organized. The employee was nice. They even have a 3 for $10 mix and match section like Bath and Body. WOW. I'm Impressed!!!”

“Love the Dollar Tree ?. Bought a bunch of Easter ?? for my candy dish. I love their Lobster Egg.Rolls. A couple of Dog Bowls and a toy for the puppy. Button batteries are a great buy. I even got a cheap sponge mob for a disgusting clean up job for $1 of course. Every thing is a Dollar ?. I can throw it away afterwards. It's a one time use sponge mop. I won't want it and nobody else would either.”
“Nice clean store, with great employees. Only complaint would be that you never know if it will be open or closed. Went here on Sunday at 2:00 pm and it was closed. Had to go to another location at 45th and Metropolitan, and that was a bad experience. Employees with bad attitudes there.”

“This place is very convenient for me because it's close to my apartment but the staff needs to work on getting the boxes out of the aisle. Every week, the shelves have to be restocked but the boxes stays in the aisles for a long period of time.”

“The store has really progressed over the recent years. The products are shelved neatly and full. The layout and design is much better and things are easier to find now. I have noticed less shrink from chronic petty theft in the past. The property doesn’t house random panhandlers out front anymore and the trash along the sidewalks and lot is gone. I’d say the building could use an upgrade outside and the parking lot re-paved to do this neighborhood a great justice in serving the community better. The past manager was beloved but the new team at this location made a significant change and we can tell the difference. I don’t feel uncomfortable shopping here anymore and will patronize more in the future.”
“This store was great to shop in. It was clean the aisles were clear and everything on the shelves was pulled forward to where I could actually shop. This is coming from a person who is in a wheelchair. It's hard to shop some places or even get down the aisle. Kuddos to the manager who greeted me and helped with the doors and having such a clean store.”

“I recently went to Dollar General over on Truman and Hardesty in Kansas City Missouri and I found they had upgraded the store immensely. it was clean, the staff was absolutely wonderful, very helpful, very nice cava and pleasant. all I can say is it did 180% turn around for what it was a year ago. it's a must visit store now. they actually have vegetables fresh and a whole aisle I'm groceries like you would normally find in a regular grocery store considering it being a little convenience store. it was very nice to see these changes. And also the staff we're very helpful. the prices are still good. I found the store to be cleaned and not very busy. it was Daddy parking was okay I would just say that if you haven't been to the new Dollar General store since they upgraded it you must go. that's my opinion. I had no problems there at all. It was an easy in and out experience for me.”

“Holy heck my dude this dollar tree is an absolute gosh teir. You should definitely go here. Prices insane, products insane. I went here after having lots of drinks so perhaps that enhanced my view of dollar tree but I would definitely go again. I did feel bad for the employees they had to deal with, in fact my friend painted her nails to test the nail polish but didn’t like it. And I feel like that was just not cool in their eyes but when we left they said “thanks so much please come dollar at the dollar tree again, sell your souls to dollar” so they probably were ok with it.”

“Not only is this dollar tree always clean and kept up, the manager Jessica is amazing! She has the best customer service! She will actually stop and help you if asked. Some ppl at dollar tree are kinda lazy (sorry! Only some though!), this employee is really a good and caring employee. She was sitting on the floor stocking, even as a manager. She was quick to get up and help with what I needed. Thank you so much! I was in a hurry and she was very efficient and fast!”
