“I just opened a new account. Friendly staff and pleasant to be around. The only complaint I have had is when I attempted to cash my check and deposit some into my checking account. I was advised that it would be a two day hold but when I received my receipt it showed a 10 day hold and the funds were deposited into my savings account. I called to find out what was going on. Long story short, the teller wasn't paying attention to my account and gave me the incorrect information. However I was then apologized to and was told the policy and explained why. I understood, just upset I wasn't given a fair opportunity to make a decision which left me with no money. I've heard good things about this financial institution and hope that this will be just a one time mistake.”

“They have always been helpful when I've gone in and very friendly. I do agree that the updates on printing out an account for 2 weeks & monthly statements are a lot harder to understand than they were before changing to this new system but I've almost always have had good service. Only once did I have a problem & it was with a new teller. I gave her a hundred dollar bill for change & asked for 2 rolls of quarters to be included with the change & she kept trying to give me just the 2 rolls of quarters for about 15 minutes. I kept telling her she needed to give me $80.00 more & she kept telling me that she gave me 2 rolls of quarters. Then I'd say but I gave you a $100.00 so $20 plus $80 would equal a $100. 15 minutes later I got the rest of my $100. That was the only time I ever had a problem. & I've done my banking there for years.”

She very patiently helped me work through a very tricky billpay/bill-direct & ebills issue: I was slightly frustrated with (not StlCCU but) BOA card, when I was able to sit down with Vahida. I had spent by then over 10 hours in 8 or 9 calls on the phone to my BOA credit card, all in trying to simply set up monthly statement ballance payments from my STLCCU account. She discovered an old address discrepency that was definitely helpful in the resolving process.Later another day I stoped by and was able to sit with her when I was close to the end of then 12 to 13 in total added hours on the phone with BOA! Fortunately she was a voice of sanity in helping me clarify banking terms when I kept getting differing definitions by BOA's customer service reps with every call.”
