316 S Main St, IndependenceOur family has been looking for a new groomer for our Shih Zhu furbaby for a while. We had a lovely groomer, but we moved near the Independence area and needed something closer, and I had a good friend recommend Excel Pet Spa for not only an adorable haircut, but good service, as well. They were right! The girls in there were so nice, professional, and had a clean establishment. One of my favorite things about this place is that it is totally open, meaning you can see the groomers working on the furbabes right in front of you. Both of the babies that were being worked on this morning looked so comfortable and happy. My guy was a bit nervous because it was a brand new environment, but I am so happy to say that my boy came back happy, and comfortable. Not only was he done almost two and a half hours before the promised time, he looks so handsome, and he was so happy when he was picked up. We have finally found our new groomer, and Hagrid and his family cannot wait to visit again! Thank you for taking great care of our little guy!

Three Trails Animal Hospital
600 West 23rd St S, IndependenceI highly recommend them, they always answer all of my questions.
We have taken all 5 of our animals to them and they treat them all well.
2 of those animals are German Shepards, the techs and vet aren't skittish around them like I've experienced at other places.
We unfortunately lost one of our dogs to cancer, and opted to end his life here in warmth and comfort with the whole family there. Three trails let us bring in the other animals and stay as long as we needed. They made everything as comfortable as possible, given the situation. 5 stars for Three Trails!

13717 East 39th St S, IndependenceI've always a had good experience anytime I've needed Dr Snyder. And right now, my kitty is in recovery after an attack from another animal. She and her staff have been too kind helping me look after my cat over many days. They have helped to guide me nursing her back to healthy and as always, I learned a lot. Dr Snyder and the staff really care about animals, and they absolutely show that with every visit I've ever had over the years. They are also very informative and very friendly. I recommend Old Town Vet to anyone who ever asks for a vet. She is the BEST! I'm so grateful I found her.

The staff from the beginning have been extremely friendly, they were great with answering questions and getting one of my puppies scheduled for her spay (which was done very well).
Today Annie spent 35 minutes on the phone with me to schedule appointments for 8 of my 9 pets. She never seemed inconvenienced, answered all of my questions, and confirmed everything several times before we got off the phone. Super impressed with the high level of empathy and customer service.

1102 East 23rd St S, IndependenceHonestly, so kind. You can tell by their tone and their attentiveness that they just really care about animals. These ladies went out of their way to make our dog comfortable and to make us feel comfortable with her in their care. There was also a way to set up some type of payments. And it wasn't even that expensive given the 5 Day over night stay our dog had spent there. Also, their facility was extremely clean. 10/10 compared to the other hospitals around town this pick is a no brainer. Thank you!
