Do NOT do business with this company. I rented a car from them to take on a camping trip. I returned the car on time and in perfect condition, while also fully vacuuming out the Interior of the vehicle before returning it. They then proceeded to charge me an extra $150 for "pet hair" in the vehicle.... There was never any sort of animal in it or even anywhere NEAR the vehicle at any point during my rental. If you enjoy being robbed, go through this Budget. If you prefer being charged the agreed upon price for what you are purchasing. Go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else!! The only reason I gave them 1 star is because you can't leave 0 stars.

I rented a vehicle for a family vacation. when I went to pick up the car, the maintenance light was on and the roters were warped causing the vehicle to shake when I would brake. then when I returned the vehicle, the lady at the counter then proceeded to tell me that she was charging me for pet hair even though there was never any pets in the vehicle. I will not be renting from here ever again. bad expierence.

CANT DO ONE WAY RENTAL, CANT GO TO CERTAIN STATES LIKE NY. Took an hour at the counter to figure this out on a prepaid reservation. Loyal budget customer for 10 years, worst location I have ever been to. I work for FEMA and am trying to get to Long Island to help winter storm victims - thanks budget independence MO - not.

The woman working there this morning was an absolute nightmare. She told me because I don't have a paper contract (was never given one) that the car needed to be returned to Avis. I took the car down the road to Avis and they said Budget would need to receive the car and close the contract. I took it back to Budget and she threatened that because I hadn't closed the contract at Avis, I would be charged for every moment that the car sat on her lot at Budget. I tried to get the keys back from her and she wouldn't give them back, she even closed the sliding door on my face when I insisted she give me back the keys. Completely unprovoked, she escalated our exchange to an aggressive state that I haven't experienced before with a person in a customer service position. I even considered calling the police because she withheld a key for a vehicle she said was still in my possession. It resolved with her doing her job and accepting the car and closing the contract - but this was after an hour of driving back and forth between Budget and Avis on Noland Rd. It was so unnecessary. I hope no one else has to go through the same. Her employment there is a very bad look for Budget.

They wouldn't rent me a truck after reserving one and having conformation. I showed up and they said they pretty much said sue us... but we gave your truck to amazon. They wanted me to wait up to 2hrs to hear from an inventory manager about going to get one from another location. They never called. I asked for compensation of any sort. I drove an hour to get the truck plus missed out on other truck and had to pay a shipping broker to help pick up my freight. I have tons of details to prove they intentionally mislead me. I plan to pursue legal action hopefully will go class action. DON'T RENT FROM Budget unless you want in on my suit. Hahah

I rented a new Dodge Challenger for 2 wks starting Sept 3 - Sept 17. Car had just over 9k miles. Well my husband and I went on oir roadtrip to Colorado and Nevada. Returning from Nevada driving through Utah on I-15 North just outside of nowhere Beaver, UT all of a sudden the car lost speed and so we had pull over to shoulder. This happened shortly after 12noon. I called ERS and they stated they needed my Rental Agreement number, well I didnt have one because this location is an Independent location therefore it does not assigned a RA# until you return the vehicle. Well long story short, my husband and I were stranded on the side of the highway for 10 hrs!!!! After arguing with customer service and ERS for 6hrs they finally got a replacement car out to me just before 10pm. I have sent several emails and left multiple message for management to call me back and I have yet to get a response or call back. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!!! They do not take accountability nor do they care about your situation or what you had to endure. Do the right thing Budget and call me back!!!!

Never rented a car from here before just dropped off and usually it's been super easy. Rented a car today and overall things were okay but giving them a low score because the car was covered in snow and a thin layer of ice and they didn't clean it and then wanted us to write if there were any scratches on it.. what?! And they wouldn't let us turn the car on to help heat it up to make the ice melt faster.. so we had to do the best we could and then inspect it without being able to see all of it. BS.

I had reservations; called and talked to 2 different people to make sure I brought everything I needed since I was getting a ride there and using my debit card. Well I didn't get a rental because I needed a utility bill. Customer service needs to get better at answering questions.

Would not recommend this place to anyone! Customer service agent was rude and not willing to work with us at all. We had a reservation for a pickup truck and when we went to get it we were told we couldn't have it because there were funds "pending" on our credit card. We reserved the truck for the next day and went back (after all funds had posted) to get it. Then were told we would have to wait 24 hours and it had only been 19 hours! He wanted to close at noon, so we had to forfeit the truck. It sat there all weekend not rented out to anyone. The agent was very short and abrupt and rude with us. I will never do business there again and feel sorry for anyone else who tries.

Horrible place never rent from here need better service Derek k was horrible make it so difficult to rent payed my light bill cause they said no past due balance sorry we don’t get a new bill everytime we pay a bill this place suck I don’t even know how they have business

I made a reservation for a vehicle and when I went to pick it up they would not let me because I had a balance on one of my utility bills. It was not a balance forward just my regular monthly bill. I showed them 2 bills for proof of address and that still wasn't good enough. This place is a joke. They literally make you jump through so many hoops thats unnecessary. Of course a recent bill is going to have a balance due thats why its a bill. All that should matter is that you have a valid drivers license, insurance and the money for the vehicle and the deposit

I went to pick up my compact car that I booked. I selected that particular class for gas economy. When I arrived to pick up my car they let me know they were upgrading me. I was then given a Large SUV. There goes fuel economy. When I asked if I can just cancel I was told no because it had to be prior to my rental date. So I would lose money. So after returning the car it ended up costing me $104 extra in gasoline. I will never rent from them again. They would not do anything to compensate me for it. I was extremely disappointed at their lack of care and understanding.
