“Horrible!! I asked for a non-smoking room and it smelled like someone had a smoke out in it!! I was supposed to have the room for 2 days but only had it for 3 hours because it was roaches in the room!! Immediately checked out once I saw it!! Gross!! I wouldn't recommend NO ONE to get a room from there!!!”

“Beautiful hotel and staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very safe and nice area. There is valet and self parking, both at a reasonable cost in a covered parking area. I also appreciate how the hotel is dog friendly and they also have a pet menu selection for in room dining. Only downside is they don't have a designated pet relief area with proper garbage bins.”

“This hotel offers small deals with my work which is why I chose to stay here. Beds were comfortable and I appreciated the large amenities in the shower to cut down on the tiny plastic bottle waste. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the free snacks at dinnertime were also a plus. Some of the ceiling tiles in our room seemed to be sagging which wasn't super appealing, but the rest of the hotel looked to be in good shape. I also really appreciated having the ease of the parking garage as an option. Great location close to the highway to hop on and off and get to the rest of STL.”

“Best hotel I've stayed at in this area! Friendly, welcoming service. Everything is VERY clean and quiet. Perfect place to land during travel.

Nearby activities: Great restaurant, shopping and entertainment area across the street!

Safety: Very safe. This is my #1 and includes feeling safe because the room is very clean and fresh. Safe area to walk around. Hotel grounds nice too.

Food & drinks: Happy Hour at the hotel! And plenty of mice bars and restaurants nearby.”

“When my insurance decided to stop my benefits for in-patient rehab -- while I was still non-weight-bearing from my knee fracture -- I had to come up with a solution for 2 weeks because my home is not handicapped accessible. That's when I chose "Lisa's Extended Stay" after reading a review from someone who stayed at this location for 2 weeks following surgery. My experience was as good as that person's. Lisa and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Lisa even asked about my injury's progress and shared my joy when I won my appeal with the insurance company. Rather than go back to rehab for 6 days, I decided to stay at the hotel in the handicapped-accessible room, which was perfect for my temporary needs.I call it "Lisa's Extended Stay" because this was more than a hotel stay; it was like being a guest in Lisa's home with many bedrooms! :-DMy only suggestion is to remove the carpet from accessible rooms and replace it with the laminate flooring, as it was a little difficult moving around in a wheelchair on the carpet.”

“The only thing I did not like is $150 charge they hold until check out. That's a lot... other than that EVERYTHING was so good. Cleanest hotel I've ever seen. ♥️”

“HavenHouse was truly our safe haven when visiting St Louis for a medical appointment. From the start, they were the best. Easy to make the reservation. Answered all questions when I called (and called back and back and back again!). They even called a couple of days before to confirm the reservation. Not only did they provide an affordable room, they treated one adult per room and children under 12 to the buffet breakfast and also gave us, free of charge, one meal (which we had as lunch) and snacks and drinks. To top it off, they allowed us to borrow a microwave and use their freezer! It truly was a saving grace and we wish they were in all states we visit for medical appointments as they made us feel cared for, like we had friends we could ask for help. Cannot thank them or recommend them enough.”

“When in the room notices the television stand was moved from the wall a little. Behind it, it was EXTREMELY DUSTY. Gave the benefit of the doubt due to how heavy it was as my cousin and I tried to move it back to the wall. Must have deleted the photo because I know for sure I took one. Oh well”

“Just wanted to take a moment to share my experience here at Motel 6 in Maryland Heights. I’m on an extended stay and can’t be any happier that I settled here. I work long days and the staff here is great! Especially Kia. Anything I’ve needed, she is on top of the request. And I tell you that when you’re away from home, it means so much to have friendly folks around- so to see Kia’s smiling face when I come in from work is a blessing. Always has a hello and asks how I’m doing. I also appreciate her professionalism, when my AC was acting strange, Kia got maintenance there right away. Just a really great stay for me!

Rooms: Well kept”

“Rooms: The room was very clean but needed more towels and better hygienes products.

Nearby activities: It's food places nearby but no activities close. The food choices are limited also. To burgers and BBQ.

Safety: Once in the hotel I felt safe. Outside is a different story. Liquor store very close so you can imagine the kind of ppl walking by to get there.

Walkability: The gas station, liquor store, and BBQ stand is within walking distance. The bus stop for public transportation is right outside of the hotel parking lot. The hotel itself is right off the highway exit. You will need transportation to get there, public or private.

Food and drinks: No food or drinks in the hotel. Just small snacks like chips and candy, and a soda machine by the front door of the hotel.

Noteworthy details: They also have a no pet policy. So I would say it's not kid friendly at all. I love my pets so I don't think I will be going back . I had to sneak my cat in. She wasn't feeling well so I couldn't leave her at home alone.”

“Amazing team of men work here. They worked together to get me unloaded and then helped me to get equipment in nose of trailer. And when one of them found me passed out(fainted) from the heat, they came together once again to help me out!!!”

“I had a pleasant stay. It is a pet friendly hotel, which was wonderful for me as I had 2 small dogs (20 lbs total) traveling with me. Check in was smooth. The rooms were clean and included complimentary coffee in the suite. There was a guest reception/happy out each evening, when hotel guests could receive 2 complimentary drinks per night of their stay at the bar (one receives tickets for the drinks at check in). The breakfast buffet was wonderful and offered many selections. My check out was also smooth. I highly recommend”

“Great location and amenities for those traveling through STL. Despite a seemingly dated structure, the Marriott St. Louis Airport is a hopping venue with updated interior and rooms. My two queen bed room was compact, but there was no smell of mold or mildew and the bathroom was very clean. While the wings were a bust at the on-site restaurant, I highly recommend the smash burger! Great flavor, crispy patties, and if you like aioli, pair it with your fries. This would have been a five start review had it not been for the Lounge "benefit" for Marriott Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite members. I visited after check-in to find no food (trays and chafing dishes were picked clean), room charge only 'honor bar', and a staff member seemingly indifferent about the lack of offerings. Thankfully the front desk staff was able to help me remedy this experience with a voucher for the on-site restaurant.”

“Simply put, this hotel is unsafe and should not even be allowed to have guests stay at.Elevators were broken, so guests were required to use the service elevator. Later, guests had to be moved to rooms on the lower floors because then the service elevator did not work.Lobby and hallways were in terrible condition because of damage and/or construction.Housekeeping did not bother to make our beds.I was told to contact the general manager, Nicolas, regarding our complaints, and have not received any reply yet.”

“The place was good, the only issue was that we kept hearing noises like something was in the room but we didn't see anything until the next morning when we pulled back the curtains and there was a cat behind them on the window sill. We were able to find the owner whom had thought that the cat had gotten out and ran away.”

“Nice hotel for an affordable price. Room was clean. Air conditioner worked well. Lots of counter space in bathroom. Friendly staff at check in. Stayed for one night with my boyfriend after a concert at St. Louis Music Park. Location is within driving distance of many places to eat, shop, etc. I'd stay again.”

“The thing that makes up for everything else is the staff. They were all super sweet and accommodating to us when we came for my grandmother's funeral. They are some things that desperately need help. The lighting in our room was null, so three women getting ready in the dark was kinda hard. We had a small lamp next to the desk, and two by the bed, that was it. The sausage and hash browns were cold both mornings and the eggs were way over cooked. I waited thirty minutes for them to replace the creamer only to find the coffee was gone as well. That was the worst. The beds were so comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff amazing.”
