“I have been taking my standard poodle to Kevin at Petco after having been “fired” by our dog’s first groomer who said she was too uncooperative. Kevin is a wonderful experienced groomer who knew exactly how to handle her. She looks gorgeous every time he grooms her, people often tell me how pretty she is. I really appreciate the Petco rewards program that gives me free groom every 8th time and occasional 5$ off. The staff in the grooming department are professional and friendly.”

“If you like freshwater tropical fish and want more than just guppies, neons and swordtails, Malawi is THE PLACE to go. I am an avid Cichlid collector and their stock and choice of Cichlids are second to none. They have large beautiful colored fish as well as juveniles that have a long life ahead of them to grow big and colorful.Bought a dozen or so fish over the years and not once did they get sick or introduce a disease to my tank. The store also helped me get a good deal on a 120 gallon fish tank so I could have large cichlids and breed them and working with Malawi was the best choice I’ve ever made in my time collecting Cichlids.They also have plenty of other kinds of freshwater fish and always have something cool and unique in stock. Their prices are also good, a little higher than Petsmart or other chains, but I’m more than willing to pay a little extra to help support a local small business.Employees and smart and knowledgeable and are fun and enjoyable to talk to. Also, being a wheelchair user, it was hard sometimes to get around in their store but they always helped me get to where I needed to go and always made sure I left the store with a smile on my face.Whether you are a beginner or experienced fish collector, you gotta check out Malawi. You won’t be disappointed ?”
“We take my very large dog with arthritis and a torn acl to be bathed. He has difficulty getting into the bath. The employees are always very accommodating by finding an additional step for my guy to get in. It also takes more than the 20-minute max, and they are pretty understanding. I would recommend Pet Supplies Plus in Ballwin.”
“Extremely friendly in person and via text. Loved that I could text and get an appointment. I got a text and call that my puppy was done. When I came to pick my puppy up, they had just brought him in from a potty break.”
“We visit this location for grooming needs every other month. We’ve been seeing Lindsey for probably 2 years now. I can’t say enough good things about her and how happy I am to have someone so sweet and talented take care of my precious Savi girl’s grooming needs. The entire staff at this location is so kind and welcoming, they get you in and out in an efficient manner and it’s always a real pleasure to visit and check out the latest treats and toys.”

“This place is awesome. Anytime I come down to Main St in St Charles, I always get my fur babies some treats. They have different flavor biscuits with pumpkin, liver, and peanut butter, and my dogs love the cookies with icing on them. They even have treats for kitties. I recommend to all my friends.”
“There is always so much merchandise to choose in the store. I go for rhe greeting cards. Most of my friends love animals like I do so the cards are perfect.

“This a very clean and nice kept store . Impressed with the well kept aquariums and the people that work ( or run or own ) the shop helped me with a very bad problem with my 5 year old Reef . They new exactly what was wrong and when I went home , they was rite . They are very well knowledge and have a great clean store with great prices . Recommend”

“Stopped in here for some holiday shopping and I was able to pick up a few stocking stuffers. This store has a great variety of items from clothing, to crystals, to cups, to camping stuff. You can find something for ANYONE in here! Cool unique items too!The store is nicely organized and items are clearly priced. When it's busy it can be very tight and difficult to move throughout the store.Opportunity for better signage to find this store - the outside sign says "life is good".”
